High Tea is available any day provided that we have a minimum of 24 hours notice. Each high tea comes with; 5 finger sandwiches (varies regularly) Scone with lemon curd, jam and Devonshire And three desserts, (may vary depending on availability) bread pudding, brownie, lemon tart, vanilla cake with ganache, nanaimo square, and more. Each person also has a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco.

We had a party of 4. One of us had the Thai noodle bowl which was very spicy almost to the point where she eat maybe a quarter of it, and she loves spicy food. One of us had the quiche and harvest salad, the salad was excellent but the quiche was very bland. The other two people had the reuben sandwich with fries and they really enjoyed them. All four of us had their specialty ice tea which tasted like watered down crystal light. For the price we paid the food was very disappointing.

McLeod House has been a firm favourite in my family for years. It's become an annual tradition for my brother and I to bring our mother there for Mother's Day. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced, the ambiance is great, and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. And if you're a tea lover, they have a wide selection of loose-leaf teas that they serve in beautiful antique teacups. Also, there's a lovely upstairs boutique for anyone interested in a little novelty shopping. If you're looking for a hint of class and old-fashioned charm in your dining experience, McLeod House is the perfect option!

Our group had a fabulous dinner! Everyone's meal was fantastic! I highly recommend the gnocchi!

It was amazing! Food was so yummy and our server, her name starts with a K. I think it was close to Kaitlyn but like Kailyn? She was super sweet! It was the first time I brought my boyfriend and everything I hyped up to him was spot on that day. He loved it and we both already want to come back!

Lovely experience - the food was outstanding and the decor and ambience were wonderful. It was our first time here but we will definitely be back.

Excellent service staff very attentive still a good mix of items on menu, their quiche is very popular, unfortunately it was no longer available when we placed orders, but just meant we have to visit earlier in the day. Their high tea was seen at most tables, needs to be pre ordered, but everyone around us highly recommended it. It was a pleasure to see a large group of the younger generation dress up for their gathering, at first we thought it was a wedding party, but no they felt the need to be dressed up beautifully for their special high tea event. Thank you to everyone around us who made our visit there a very pleasurable experience. Looking forward to our next booking for the High Tea experience.

High Tea was a nice experience as a birthday celebration gift from my daughter which we enjoyed together. There was a good selection of teas, wines and cocktails or a mimosa. The food serving as adequate for the price. Very carb heavy - 1/2 a cucumber sandwich, 1/2 devilled egg, a very thin slice of prosciutoo with a thin slice of apple, a puff pastry cup with about 1 tbsp of chicken salad, a scone, lemon curd, jam, sweetened cream, bread pudding, a small anaimo bar and bownie square. If you're going for the experience, it's lovely. If for food, the menu would be a better option. The best part of the experience was spending 4 hours (travel, lunch, shopping after) with my daughter.

I always enjoy eating at the McLeod House. I am very glad you serve gluten free French fries. The only complaint I have is the gluten free bread, which is dry and flavourless. I have had Celiac for the past 24 years and in that time gluten free bread has improved a lot. There are a number of gluten free bread options which are quite good. My favourites are Joe's g/f cheese bread, available at Meyers Pharmacy and O'Dough, which is sold at many grocery stores including Family Foods in Stonewall. I hope you will consider changing your gluten free bread choices.
