At Mayfield, we celebrate fresh and local. We take great pride that the produce served at Mayfield is grown onsite in our garden and the remainder is handpicked from local partners. So as you wander through the Garden Centre in the morning, you may well be eating from its bounty a little later in the day. Because we grow our produce, our menu changes with the seasons. The kitchen garden team chat daily with our chefs to make plans and sow the seeds, and when those fruits and vegetables are at their seasonal best, that’s what you’ll find on our menu. You can also take a piece of Mayfield home with you. Choose from our very own delicious jams, chutneys and oils along with other local merchandise. If food is the way to someone’s heart, then you’re going to fall head-over-heels for our deliciousness. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it!

    The pumpkin soup and the burger was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the food and the resraurant ambiance was good.

    Delicious food, served fast after we ordered. Table was ready even though we turned up 20 minutes early.

    Mayfield Gardens cafe has a lovely ambiance located within the beautiful Mayfield Gardens which are particularly spectacular this time of year in Autumn. The cafe is clean and staff were courteous and prompt in taking our orders and checked during our meal if we needed anything else. The food was okay, my pesto pasta and my partners meal was just luke warm, would have been nicer if hot. The cafe is pet friendly and our 2 groodle dogs were welcomed and we had a suitable table for us them and other customers. I strongly recommend booking your table a day in advance or week if busy period, via the opentable platform, it’s a seamless and easy way to book and includes confirmation and reminders.

    Wish there were more options for vegetarian main meals. Just a plate full of risotto, seemed too much to take without a change.
