Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to try the restaurant, I had a booking for 9:15pm and they close at 9pm. once I got there, the restaurant was completely close. Maybe I’ll try next time I’m in SD, but until then, please fix the Open Table hours for your restaurant.

This is a magical place - the food is amazing, fresh, and authentic. The service feels like you are an honored guest in a warm, Italian kitchen. Everything was perfect. Watching people in the pasta-making class was an added bonus.

The food was authentic and very good. The service was also fantastic. The only downside was that they do not serve alcohol. We had to go to the liquor store a few doors down to get wine and they uncorked it for us (they did not charge us a fee). A tiny bit of an inconvenience, but I would expect wine to be on the menu at an Italian restaurant.

Good ambiance, strong participation in community events. Some of the food was good and some was excellent. May return for a cooking class rather than a meal.

The cooking lab is a great place for groups of friends to make their own pasta. They do not sell alcoholic beverages, but you css as n go next door and buy your own. The owners are very nice.

We had not been back since they had moved from their tiny location downtown. So happy to see this great spot. Plenty of room for both dining & cooking classes, and on a Sunday evening, it was uncrowded. But we know that won’t last. The food & service were excellent. We will be back, both for meals & classes.

We had a table of 4 women. After purchasing a bottle of wine next door we had the most delicious dinner. The service was impeccable! All four of us have told our friends about this little gem. Thank you Mattarello!!!
