With so many options available there’s really no stand out reason to choose MTM’s. Food is “ok”, service is “ok”, value is “ok”. If you’re close and there’s no wait then it’s an “ok” choice. Overall though, if you want to spend $35+ a person and have a great dining experience I can think of many, many better options. MTM’s used to be a solid choice but recently it’s just become “ok” like many other chains which is sad.

The dinner here is hot or miss. Some days, it is pretty good. Other days, it is slap-dash, poorly put together. Last night was the latter. Perhaps the kitchen was overwhelmed, but the restaurant didn’t seem that busy. I ordered filet steak with sautéed mushrooms and sweet potato fries. The meal came out with an over-cooked steak, and a paltry amount of sautéed mushrooms and fries. Service was VERY slow. At the end, I asked for carrot cake to go. The waiter brought my check, and said “I will be right back with your dessert”. It took more than 15 minutes for the waiter to finally bring the carrot cake.

First time with some friends for Restaurant Week. Enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and chocolate/cherry old fashioned. Server was very friendly and everything was terrific. We’ll be back!

Enjoyed restaurant week menu at MTM . The food was great although not in the regular menu. The noise level was so intense you had difficulty hearing your partner. Would like to go back on another night as Saturday was loud and crowded likely only on the weekend.

Was there for Restaurant week and ordered off pre fixe menu. Very good food and cooked very well. Nice presentation. Service was excellent. Outdoor seating area well designed and shaded.

Great service. Food was good. Our table mainly had burgers, pork and the chicken pasta.everyone with burgers seemed happy, the pork nicely prepared but the chicken was mediocre, not what was pictured on their website. Basically chunks of chicken cut up and thrown in a bowl of fettuccine Alfredo with some mushrooms and asparagus. Was hoping for a little more as the description was Parmesan crusted chicken.

I chose Matt the Miller for the buffet. That said, It appears they raised the price because it was Easter. I was a bit surprised the buffet was $45 per person. Service was subpar. Had to ask to have plates removed from the table and mimosa bottle service was very slow. All and all it was just an OK experience

I thought the brunch was way over priced for the quality and selection. The waiter was slow to our table with drinks and we had to get our own coffee that was empty and then had grounds in it.

This was a buffet only and all of the food was honestly either awful or cold or both. Celtic Grogg coffee was the only bright spot, sadly for this terrible and overpriced Easter with my family.

Well, I normally only post positive reviews but I cannot help myself but submit a negative review. We attended the Easter Brunch which we have done before and we were totally disappointed in the food, period. Most every item we tried was cold, hard, and tasteless. We did order one omelet as part of the deal but it was made incorrectly and returned but when we got the correct one, at least it was hot! If the server had not been so nice we would have rated everything negatively! Having a brunch for $115 for 2 people with just sodas and being served lousy food was not acceptable. I sent an email to the company so they could at least address it but have received no reply!

Had a reservation and waited for over 20 min to be seated, food took forever to come and it wasn’t great, first time patrons and last. Portions very small for cost, and who I believe was the manager was not at all a people person came off very rude, whether she meant to or not.

The food was inferior quality. The entree sized Chopped Salad was very small (definitely not meal sized), and the lettuce was low quality. When I asked for a dinner roll, I was told that they do not have them, and I was offered a pack of oyster crackers. I would not recommend this place.

No omelet station as advertised for the brunch. Bacon not crispy. Gravy was extremely dry almost seemed to be crumbled sausage with no milk.

A reliable favorite restaurant with a broad menu of tavern fare, we have sampled much of the menu. The apps and the burgers shine. We selected the fish and chips at the recommendation of our server. Who was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal, even though we waited for a last-minute order to go. The fish and chips, indeed, were not a star; the breading was heavy on the fish, and the chips were sparse. Neither of us even got a typical side size. Coleslaw under the seasoned also a tiny cup.

The 6oz filet and salmon dinners were excellent! Server Cruz was excellent!

Brunch buffet had good food and excellent selection but the food was displayed on high tables making it difficult to access,

Good food. Good service. We were seated very close to the door and it made it pretty uncomfortable at times with the cold air blowing in on us.

Update: I messaged the restaurant my address as they offered to send a gift card, but I never received a reply or a gift card in the mail. One side of our booth had broken springs, which made it very uncomfortable for our party of 6 (including two 75 year-olds). We asked to switch to a different table and while the manager reluctantly agreed, she treated us with rudeness and disdain for the remainder of the evening. She also told us that we could only have the table for an hour and 15 minutes so they could get the space ready for a large party coming in later that evening. We have celebrated my son’s birthday here for a few years in a row but that will likely be the last time.

my wife and I met some friends at Matt the Miller's Tavern yesterday for a very enjoyable lunch. We simply wanted to catch up with our friends and were certainly able to, the noise level was moderate so great for that purpose. Our service was great, our wait staff was attentive, friendly, helpful all while not being overly attentive. The food was excellent (as always), everything was prepared perfectly and very well presented. We did not feel rushed to turn over our table. We have been here many times and certainly intend to go back.
