    Excellent food, service and ambiance. They made sure that our experience was personalized for our anniversary celebration. Mastro’s is definitely the place to go for any special occasion.

    What a great evening! I messed up the amount of people and the lady at the front still accommodated us and put us in the front room which we love because of the light and not as loud. Our waitress was phenomenal too.

    This is the 3rd time in a row that I have been to Mastro's that the steaks have not been cooked properly. To be fair it's a month or two between visits. I know going into a steakhouse that generally they are going to be under what you would normally experience. I normally order Medium-Rare steaks, and having been a cook in a restaurant I know what Medium-Rare should be. It should have the fat rendered with a red center that goes to pink with very little gray at all. In my past visits ordering medium-rare has resulted in a rare steak that the fat has not rendered, and the middle of the steak is rare and slightly warm. Having my previous experiences I ordered my steak Medium, expecting more along the lines of Medium-Rare. Which is what I wanted in the first place. Instead I got another rare almost blue-rare steak. Which I then had to slightly argue with the waiter that this is not what a Medium steak should be, not even a Medium-Rare steak should be when he stated that is what Mastro's does for Medium. He did take it back to the kitchen and they tried to fix it, but it ended up being overcooked by the time it came back. My wife was already mostly done with her food by the time the steak came back, so I didn't bother trying to get it corrected. When the food is cooked properly the food is really quite good, but at this point I might have to stay away from steaks here or we go somewhere else.

    Good food but I seem to always get seated in the same spot. I would advise management to put someone bubbly and attentive as the host or hostess because the girl up front did not even make eye contact or smile. Our table was way too close to the other party so much that the lady had to turn sideways, hold her dress, and squeeze through just so she didn’t hit our table or touch our food. She was not a big lady in case that crossed anyone’s mind. Our waitress was good but the friendliness was lacking. I don’t know if people are overwhelmed but for $300 bill you would expect friendlier service in the restaurant as a whole.

    Food - awful - not like before- steak cold and overcooked - not a good porterhouse steak. Pork chop overcooked. A poor experience overall- service not great either.

    The lobster roll was very subpar, and the crabcakes were undercooked and mushy, I should’ve sent them both back, but the waiter was fabulous so I didn’t, I felt bad.

    Kayla has served us a couple of times and is phenomenal. Mastros is the top shelf of steak houses.
