We spent well over $3500 for 7 people. Had a sushi tower and were not given soy sauce, ginger, wasabi. The “wagyu chops” were over priced and over rated. Cavier was good, waiter was ok. The male host at the entrance was very unpleasant, not what you want to deal with when ur walking into a “high end dinner”

Came here for my mother in laws birthday yesterday and had such an amazing time , from the greeting at the door , to the waiter staff , everyone made her feel special! Food was 10/10 and I’d definitely recommend Mastros to everyone I know!

Angelica was my server and she was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Food and service was impeccable. I always enjoy coming to this place for special occasions.

You can never go wrong with Mastro’s. The service is always top shelf just like the drinks. The food was amazing as always. This restaurant is always my first choice when dining out.

They have the best steak and food in the city. Their signature butter cake is always incredibly delicious. The service is second to none.

Fantastic experience at Mastro's. This was our first time dining here and the menu, wine list, food and service were outstanding. I highly recommend the bone-in filet, but I'm not sure you can go wrong with any of the menu choices.

I’m afraid Mastros has gone downhill in this location too. I ordered a 45 day dry aged 22ounce steak, and whilst it looked very impressive when it came to the table, it was tasteless and very undercooked. Consequently, it went back for more cooking but came back again undercooked, but this time I ate most of it as I just didn’t want to wait anymore. It’s a real shame as Mastros used to be the king of the steaks in the USA.

Unfortunately, my wife and daughter (who’s 20) had a bad experience at Mastro’s. My entire family has eaten at Mastro’s in numerous different cities, including Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago, Scottsdale, and NYC. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. My wife (who’s also a grandmother) was wearing a very conservative sweater with a hood. My wife was told that she couldn’t be seated because her sweater had a hood. My wife said she would tuck her hood in so it couldn’t be seen. However, the manager still refused to have her seated. So my wife had to walk back to the hotel about 20 minutes away (while my daughter stayed at the restaurant) and change her clothes. This was extremely embarrassing and completely unnecessary. My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have eaten at restaurants all over the world and have never been refused service. I spoke with the manager and he was rude and condescending. Further, my wife said other patrons of the restaurant were dressed in violation of the discretionary dress code; yet my wife was separated out and forced to change her clothes. It’s extremely unfortunate and disappointing that my wife and daughter’s nice day in NYC was scarred by the actions of the management and staff at Mastro’s.

Steak was over cooked. Scallop potato’s not great. Sea bass, mushrooms/beans amazing. Service exceptional. K and T and entire team very pleasant and helpful.

This was my third visit, and Maestro's Steakhouse NYC did not disappoint! I've been seated both upstairs and downstairs, and service is equally top-notch. The steaks are always cooked to perfect. The seafood is also very fresh and delicious and never overcooked. The crab cakes are not full of fillers and bread crumb it lumps of crabmeat. The drinks are well balanced, and the lemon drop is the best I've had anywhere. I will definitely be back.

A menu of great choices. My roasted bone marrow, bone-in filet, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus were all excellently prepared and delicious. I also got to taste my partner's Wagyu New York was exquisite! We finished off with coffee and a cherry crisp and the dessert matched the wonderful meal. Absolutely unmatched. You should go!

I have dinned in mastros in several locations including in NY and had pleasant experience in occasion the waiter was not given any attention to our table and was more busy closing finished tables he made no effort to provide the expected experience from fine place like Mastro

I went here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Let’s just say he and I fell in love. We usually like Ruth Chris but it was close so I decided to book Mastro. Overall everything was wonderful. I had ordered the calamari, the half rack of oysters, crab cakes, caesar salad, rack of lamb, garlic mash potatoes, filet, and cream spinach with Shirley temple, Sprite, Don Julio w. pineapple and a French 75 as our drinks. The food was very delicious and tasty. The ambiance and vibes were 10/10. This a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary and for date night. The price is pricey so please come prepared to spend more than $150.

The food was great , our waiter was good but he did not come back to check on our table much. When we asked another waiter could she get us our drinks that we been waiting for a while for, she took our order but had a bad attitude about it. She rolled her eyes. We told the manager and she apologized for the server who refused to apologize for her bad attitude. The manager said she was just overwhelmed and she apologized for the waiter .No excuse for bad behavior. We been coming to Carmines for over a decade. Never had a problem. Very disappointed. We were celebrating our anniversary.

Swanky steakhouse with great service and food. We did a midweek early evening reservation. It has a very moody romantic setting but our table was adjacent the bar and the music was WAY too loud. I felt like I was having to shout just to talk to my spouse. I was hoping for a more intimate birthday dinner date location. This felt more like a party steakhouse. That being said, the food was delicious. Ours steaks were cooked perfectly and everything was fresh. We each had a drink while waiting for our dinner and they were equally as good! They did bring my husband out a piece of complimentary cheesecake for his birthday, not complaining but I wish they would have mentioned they were doing this as we had fully intended to order the butter cake as we had heard so much about it and essentially in the end wasted the cheesecake as we were on our way to a broadway show and did not want to carry it. The prices are in line with what you would expect to pay for a high end steakhouse.
