The staff was great, I wanted a table by the window, however, they wouldn’t do it even that there were 5 tables available. The music was great so was the food. I was happy to see that they had oyster rockeffer , great experience

This place is a must go!! Went for my girl’s bday because we know how good it is. The food, ambiance and the view of the water is the best!! Don’t hesitate booking!!!

As always, food was great and service was excellent. The Manager Jessica went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us— our waitress was amazing as well- great suggestions, service, and happy demeanor wficg we love. We were celebrating a birthday and had mh 5 year old with us as well - very accommodating. Standouts as far as meal — ribeye, broccolini, mac n cheese, truffle mushrooms and of course the butter cake. Some reviews talk down on the ceasar salad but it was actually pretty tasty and big. Everything was great will be back soon

First, my seat was sticky and dirty, ruining my $300 pants. When I complained, they didn't care. Then all of our steaks came out raw, and we got a free dessert and no apologies. Complete rip off for horrible service and management.

The service here is unmatched!! I had the best time with my family for Mothers Day. It was super busy but they still treated us with so much love and care. Our table was the high top right in the middle of the room. We had so many servers and waiters check on us. I can't wait to come back! I ordered the Fried Calamari, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Sea Bass, & The Dreamberry drink. Thank you for the great time and for your amazing service.

Arian is the best server at Mastro's Ocean Club, he's the sole reason I keep coming back to this location rather than Beverly hills or thousand oaks. He always takes care of us and meets every need. The food was great per usual. The only dull part of our experience was having to wait 25 min to be seated. Thank you Arian!

We arrived early and thru gave a great table but the window as requested for mother’s 80th birthday + early mother’s day late lunch. Perfect timing. Delicious filet mignons 6, 8, & 12 oz + sides to share, fresh hot pretzel bread and butter & key lime pie dessert + a specially crafted sangria & cappuccino for mom. She loved everything plus her perfect view of the Malibu coastline facing NNW. Overcast sky made it cozy and emotional. Perfect occasion despite some neighboring tables who knew each other which was lovely, but strangely kept walking their side dishes back and forth to share with each other behind our chairs. And one other guest came to take photos over our table despite multiple other windows to use.

Sydney annd staff were amazing made us feel right at home. We’ve been to other Mastro’s and SYD wa ls our MVP!!! We will be back definitely worth the commute.

Great location. Great staff. Overall great experience. One of our meats came out done medium when it was supposed to be medium rare. I was not complaining but was just pointing this out. Was asked if we wanted it replaced but I said that we were not complaining just making them aware. Manager stopped by later to apologize and comped us dessert to which we said was not necessary. They brought out delicious desserts anyway. Again, overall wonderful experience.

Had the best experience celebrating my graduation here! As a Mastro’s lover, it was my first time at the Malibu location and Chasen was an incredible server and made our celebration so special.

Food is not worst for price. Lobster not truly cook still has raw part. All food test like buffet food. Fried calamari was cold .

We had a great evening as we do whenever we actually go to this location specifically. This time unfortunately the drinks were a little off and the my plate of food was great hot but unfortunately my wife’s plate was cold . That’s a bummer especially when I’m spending $300+ each time I go there. Hopefully next they don’t bring our food cold . At least have the plate hot but not even that was hot.

We celebrated a birthday and Mastro’s NEVER disappoints!! Ambiance and mood was lively and stunning! The bread was piping hot and melted the butter. Our steaks were prepared to perfection and are the best we’ve ever had! Would gladly pay for the truffle butter again!! Our mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were prepared to perfection and so tasty!! A special thank you to our waitress, Jaz!, her positive attitude and menu knowledge enhanced our experience! A special thank you to the Manager, Leo! Leo came to our table and checked up on us! This attention to detail from Jaz and Leo elevates this dining experience and truly matters! Thank you!! We will certainly be back!!

The wait to be seated extended long after the reservation time. Seating was then offered in an undesirable location with no view of the ocean, which is why one would pay the premium to dine here as well as make the drive. Only after refusal of the substandard seating were we offered the seating in the bar area with high top tables with a direct view of the ocean where we could have been seated from the very beginning. One expects more from the hostesses. At least the waite staff and food made the experience enjoyable.

Service was amazing. Food was great. Probably, the best pan-seared sea bass I've ever had. It was crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. I asked for a lemon garlic butter sauce which they provided on the side. The creamed spinach was yummy as well. I didn't care much for the bread basket. It was pretzel bread and a few other breads. None of them stood out very much to me. Had to send the first order of calamari back. Instead of serving the aioli on the side they drizzled it on top of the calamari. Not being a fan of mayo on my calamari I sent it back. They quickly brought out a fresh order or calamari for me and it was yummy!

I have been taking clients to Mastros for 15 years, mostly in Beverly Hills where the food and service is always 5 stars. This is my third time trying the oven Club location and it is consistently bad. The service here is terrible, the food is sub-par. The company should do an audit of what’s going on because this is not the Mastros I know and love.

Was a good experience, unfortunately this time I’m on some food restrictions and couldn’t enjoy my Mastros favorites. Tuna tartare is actually the best I had in any restaurant and I’ve been to so many high end restaurants in both continents.

We were seated at a table by the side exit where employees would leave to go on break. Constantly could smell cigarette smoke and the door wouldn’t completely close, which led to us being cold at our table. Also, we were regularly forgotten about in the back corner and didnt get water until 20 minutes after sitting down.

Beautiful view, great ambiance. Service was poor to say the least (comparing to other Mastro’s locations). Food was ok. Fried calamari appetizer was definitely cooked way before it was served to us, creamed corn was too heavy and creamy, porterhouse steak was chewy. Overall a generous three star based on location and table with amazing view.

We got there a little bit earlier than our reservation however we were seated just a little bit after our server was the best her name was Deva she made sure we were taken care of and was very attentive to us. Such a delight. Overall a good experience…. The table in back of us was bit loud but when you’re having a bit of libations that’s to be expected 🤭

I made reservations to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food and service were perfect. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Mr cosmo was served over dry ice, keeping it very cold.(love it.). Our desserts exceeded expectations. However, I requested a window seat to view the ocean and they were unable to seat us anywhere near a window. We were way in the back. Disappointing! We may as well have gone to Larsons in Woodland Hills.😩
