Service is very slow and it is overpriced for the taste of the food. Pizza was dry-ish and pasta lacked flavor.

FOODIE WONDERLAND!!! SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!!! TOP 3 OF MY RESTAURANTS IN THE PAST 5 YEARS (we dîne out extensively to some of the best restaurants weekly). Let me say first this is a gem!!!! Food is a mix between France, Spain and Morroco. We had the Coucous Royal, the Morille Tagliatelle, the Burrata and the Spanish meatballs. Delicious to the max!!!! We'll executed perfectly balanced and flavors that are just right. Exceptionnal food and service by Jean-Michel was nothing short of feeling like a star, with class, warmth and just the right amount of everything that makes someone EXCEPTIONNAL at hosting.. We had dinner at very expensive restaurants in Santa Monica (Fairmont Hotel) and spend much more money and Massilia and Jean-Michel blew them out of the park. Not even comparable.. If you are a foodie and love food.... Amazing service, wonderful decorated restaurant this place has it all. Don't hesitate and enjoy a true foodie wonderland!

I had organized a work dinner at Massilia for my team and had confirmed with the host the day before that they would be able to use my card on file for the bill, but on the night of the dinner, they said this was no longer possible so someone else had to put the entire bill on their card. This was deeply embarrassing, and I had specifically called beforehand to make sure this wouldn't happen. I have never had this issue with other restaurants before. I was provided an email to Francis to discuss this but I have yet to hear back.

The food at Massilia was quite good. My chicken tajine was excellently spiced though chicken maybe minutely overdone. Nice atmosphere. The server was extremely friendly but I thought they rushed us a bit in terms of ordering and getting us off of our table maybe because I had kids with me. Would recommend albeit not fervently.

The ambiance and decor were nice, chic. The drinks were good. The service was a little slow but good as well. The big disappointments are the food and the value for such food. I found the steak to be improperly cooked and tasted horrible, chewing it felt like chewing a hard old piece of bubble gum. I found it to be a cheap cut. The patatas bravas tasted like burned food. The prices were excessive. I found the place to be not worth the cost. Sadly to say, but I don't think of coming back.

My bowl included rice which was off ( actually tasted off) and this I had to send the entire dish back- super disappointing.

The place is cute! I feel badly giving such a poor review but the place was EMPTY and our service was terrible. SLOW. Everyone on phones or something. Idk. Won’t go back. Makes me sad Was a 2:45 hour lunch that should’ve been 1:30

Conscientious staff and good food. High quality ingredients. Lunch menu is also more moderately priced and has good sandwiches. Good place for dinner with lovely outdoor seating for covid conscious.

Terrible experience! If I could give 0 stars I would! We went for the valentines set course and the food was terrible and not filling! They started us off with 3 dips and 2 pieces of bread with chopped up (not grilled????) veggies next to it! The steak was an extremely cheap cut and had the texture of a leather shoe. Terrible experience waste of money will not be going back.

We went as a group of 10, which always has the potential for a dining disaster. Nope, it was FANTASTIC! Jonathan, our wonderful waiter, offered us delicious menu suggestions that lent itself well to our desire to share plates and order drinks. The food was a flavorful balance of both familar and exotic. The drinks were well crafted and quick to be refilled. The bussing staff was attentive and polite. The atmosphere was inviting and comfort with a trendy edge. We will absolutely be back.... all 10 of us!

The menu read well so we came in to try. Great customer service throughout the meal but the food was very under seasoned. The baba ganoush was practically all tahini and had no flavor. The citrus salad was fresh but needed more of a dressing or at least salt. The mushroom pizza was hot but lacked mushroom flavor, it was very cheese forward and also could use salt. We enjoyed the clam pasta the most though like the other dishes very under seasoned and it tasted flat.

Our server was so sweet. Food delicious. Space is beautifully done. Comfortable yet chic. Had a fantastic birthday lunch with friends. We all loved that brunch items are available on weekdays, which is often not the case. Everyone found something they were craving and then some. Great experience. We will be back to check out dinner.

Had a wonderful time with my kids. Staff was warm and service was excellent. We had Steak Frites and the meat was fantastic, but the Bernaise needs serious improvement (take a cue from The Golden Bull!). My son’s lamb and mashed potatoes was delicious. Our burrata app and shrimp and tuna tartare were good, not out of this world. Even though we shared an entree the bill was more than $200 (ouch) and my daughter’s the non-alcoholic drinks were the price of alcoholic ones which shocked us.

Dined on NYE at 7:30 pm before the prefix menu started. Our server was attentive and warm. The appetizers were overpriced IMO for $17-20. Sat by the glass that separates the outside and the music was SO LOUD. Had to scream to hear each other. The music also was not appropriate for the vibe of the restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my experience but would order differently next time.

The staff were very accommodating in moving our table inside after initially being seated on the patio. Service was great, and the menu interesting and satisfying. one minor issue - the bouillabaisse stock was fabulous but more seafood would've made the dish.

I got my debit and credit cards stolen out of my purse at Massilia. The hostess sat two people very close to my chair, despite a near empty restaurant with many open tables available. When I went to pay my tab my wallet had been emptied. The restaurant has no security cameras and offered no compensation for the theft.
