Dear customers:
Starting from 03/01/2024, we will be adjusting our Omakase pricing as following:

Omakase Bar seating: $98 per person will be 15 courses, $138 per person will be 18 courses.
Table Tasting Menu (not on bar): $88 per person will be 15 courses.

Our Omakase reservation is available for four rounds each day: 1pm/5pm/6:30pm/8pm,each round will be one hour and half.

If you want to reserve an Omakase bar seating, please go to the "experience" section and select the time slots that you would like to reserve (1pm/5pm/6:30pm/8pm),which will be the only reservation for our Omakase bar seating.

All other reservations will be for our regular dine in table/ regular table Omakase tasting menu.

Please double check before making reservations.

We will be communicating through SMS and/or e-mail with customers about their opentable reservation, so please make sure that either the phone number or the e-mail address is correct when you make the reservation.

David as always was amazing. His friendly personality and knowledge of making well balanced mix of taste made the entire meal very enjoyable. Also the waiter Kevin was so nice and attentive to us, how can you not have enjoy the experience. I’ve been here countless times for their 18 course omakase. Highly recommended!

A wonderful dining experience here as usual. Food is always delicious, albeit a tad pricey. And a good selection of wine. It has become one of my regular go to local spots. Nice atmosphere and the wait staff is always friendly.

Food was delicious, as always. Got there early for our reservation and they sat us immediately. They did not rush us out, and were able to sit and chat as long as we wanted.

Absolutely amazing!! Outstanding omakase I always enjoy... we have Omakase once a week and love it always !!! Mike and Dave are the best omakase chefs!! Love the experience every time!!! The staff are all fabulous!!! Thank you for always being to wonderful!!

Reservations recommended. Free edamame and tea is nice. Sushi and fish are solid. Kitchen items aren’t traditional Japanese and more Asian fusion just FYI. They are good but more fusion flavor profiles. Service is efficient. Nothing to report. Would probably pass on desert next time. Nothing special.

Good atmosphere, fresh sashimi and sushi. There’s an incident happened behind our dining area at the beginning and the staffs quickly responded to the situation. As a courtesy, they offered $10 off for each guest who is eating Omakase. The rest of the experience was excellent!

They made my Birthday experience wonderful. Can’t thank them enough. The place was super clean, very punctual with their reservation time and the sushi was amazing. Definitely recommend you check this place out! Parking lot is available right down the block which is convenient.

Masaaki is absolutely amazing.., the sushi is sooo delicious and fresh .. I love how each piece is made differently and the tastes are incredible!! I love the Omakase and I can't wait for my next dining experience there..

First time trying omakase and it was excellent! Did the 19 course tasting and it was the perfect amount of food, filling but was able to finish everything.

Excellent omakase experience. Got the 19 course menu. All very fresh & well presented. Only suggestion is the number of tuna offerings served - 4 different variations. Would be nice if some abalone or something a little different were presented instead. Been there twice for omakase, definite recommend.

We love this restaurant and have been dining in there for a several times. The food is delicious, services are great. Love their sashimi, had their Trio Sashimi platter with beautiful presentation, it was great and fresh.

This waas my 2nd time coming to Masaaki. While there was a bit of a mix-up with the reservation the staff was more than willing to accommodate our desire for the omikase service and they went out of their way to make the experience wonderful. The fish tasted like it was just pullled from the ocean, so fresh! The sake selection is very good. Definitely worth the drive to Astoria. I'm looking forward to going back again

Masaaki is a total gem in the Bayside area and the Omakase was next level. Fish is flown in from all over and the flavors in each course are perfectly paired. Chef David was great!

Staff was attentive and great but the food was terrible. We did not do omakase but it wasn’t authentic Japanese food and no one from our large party enjoyed their food.

The sushi is very fresh and very well prepared. The service is first rate. We had the sashimi and sushi combo for 2. It was amazing . We also had various rolls all perfectly prepared. The gyoza and cryspy rice also great I highly recommend Masaaki if you want quality sushi

Best omakase experience. Truly amazing fresh fish, talented and wonderful sushi chefs Michael and David, great service… this was my thirs time doing the omakase experience and will surely be back many more times!

Fish was very fresh and I appreciated the variety of dishes that came with our 19 course omakase dinner. The sushi chef was friendly and explained each of the dishes to us. The only thing I’m going to be nitpicky about was too much truffle oil. I understand it’s very popular and most people love anything with truffle, but I felt that almost every dish had an overwhelmingly amount of truffle taste. I’d much rather appreciate the fresh sushi on its own.
