Great food, relaxing atmosphere, very friendly but not pushy staff. I would highly recommend. A side note there is free valet in very front or paid self parking with a 10 tip after a couple hours it will be the same price to park yourself.

I really enjoyed the food at Marmo. Due to my coworker being immune-compromised, we had to sit outside on the patio. The flies were insane and there were mosquitos under the table that ate me up! I would suggest investing in those table top fans that deter flies and try to figure out a way to deter the mosquitos. I would come back to this restaurant if I was able to eat inside because the food and drinks were great. The issues we had are solely based on the outside influences.

Wonderful food. Problems are the highest markup wine list I have seen anywhere in world, and very uncomfortable chairs due to painfully designed armrests and hard seats.

Best Italian restaurant in Houston! Great prices, forget her name but the young blonde waitress was very tentative & had a great understanding of the menu! Will definitely be back when in Houston for work

We visited for lunch. The fact that you can order half portions of pasta makes the menu perfect for lunch. Three sizes of charcuterie boards are offered, also allowing customization to your party number. One of the pasta dishes we had was delicious, with morels and asparagus. The rabbit gnocchi was a little less nuanced; the root vegetables were lost. The Caesar salad had shaved egg yolk on top instead of the traditional anchovies, and the dressing seemed lemon heavy. The AC was cranked so high we both froze, and the noise level made it impossible for me to hear the server.

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Saw my waiter 4 times, once to take our drink order, our food order, then to grab the check the manager had to bring us that wasn’t signed yet as we finished our food and drinks, and lastly to again pick up the check while we finished our drinks. I have had better service from a cashier at McDonald’s than a place that u spent $160 at. The food was fine, the ambiance was good, but if you are charging 40-80 a plate, the service should reflect that.

This was not my first time at Marmo but it was certainly my best time at Marmo. Black squid ink crab pasta was incredible. The talented pianist playing and singing yacht rock ballads added a layer of ambiance that made the evening even more memorable. The service deserved 5 stars but I only rated it a 4 because the otherwise wonderful waitress couldn’t be found to bring the check. I will go back again and again.

Excellent service, friendly knowledgeable staff. Food is excellent with a good wine selection and bar drinks. Only issue we had was a group of women celebrating a birthday who were very loud in the open dining area. Sitting in the back or in the bar would help this problem. We plan to eat here again.
