Marleys was opened in 2018 by young local couple, Mark & Charly. It's a culmination of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients - served by the friendliest team, and truly produced with love, thought and care.

We serve lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

We focus on 'British Comfort Food', with a little extra attention to detail. Casual Dining at it's best - in your little neighbourhood cafe-restaurant.

We take dinner bookings in the evenings - with breakfast and lunch being walk-in only.

Food was lovely. We all had sharing boards to start and then various main meals. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was fantastic. Have been before and always had a great meal whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I had squid, monkfish, husband had the pork belly bits and steak all beautifully cooked. The service was outstanding 👏 the young lady who took our order was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed. Very reasonably priced given the quality of food. I had previously booked Marleys for a corporate dinner and our American visitors were blown away so I decided to try it myself. I will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful meal at Marleys - the pork belly and the vegan chicken were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, we'll book again when back in Folkestone.

Whilst entertaining some colleagues from London. Seemed to being rushed due to when our starters came , we had not finished these when our main course was being delivered to our table. One of us was only half way through his which I felt was rather pushy We ordered up a desert which all Of us fancied the sticky toffee. The waitress came back to advise this was now not available. With relation to my final point , we had finished our desert which the table was cleared. After approximately 5 minutes the waitress advised us that we only had 10 Minutes left. To conclude excellent food but tingedl with Having to leave so soon. Kind regards Paul Hoveman

Food great and staff very attentive. Only downside was the 1.5 hour table turnaround which felt slightly rushed. The bill was presented without it being requested, making us feel like we were being asked to leave.

Marleys is our"go to" for the very best food and service in our old town. The staff are always willing to go that extra stretch and always with added smiles- they really have been well drilled from the top down. The food and choices are always top notch.....and the summer cocktails hit the spot to. Bravo 👏👏👏
