This was my 2nd time to have the Skirt Steak.....Oh my was I HAPPY . The flavor was even better than the last time. And I was very happy the 1st time. We go to Market Tavern often and to say I have found my go to meal is an understatement .. Ty to our server (McKaylie ?? I think).... looking forward to our next trip!!!

We were sitting in the bar and the music was so loud we couldn't carry on conversations. Not sure why the music was on at all during the lunch hour. I could see if it was a friday or saturday night but not doing lunch when there are business people trying to talk.

Our family has used Market Tavern as a 'go to' place for a good meal and good atmosphere. We go for special occasions. Everyone is friendly from the hostess to the wait staff. The menu selections are varied and the dishes are well prepared.

This used to be our very favorite restaurant. We live in Modesto. The waitress was really absent. Never brought items asked for. When time to pay the bill I had to walk around and hunt her down. The usual rib eye steak was tough. I am aware times are tough and prices have risen for food. But since this is a pricey item I expected something better than Texas Roadhouse etc That back corner where all the walls and ceiling are black is super noisy. We had to shout to each other. Super disappointed in service and food. We hate to see this happening.

The beef stroganoff was the best I’ve ever had. Have been to Market Tavern many times and just finally decided to try it last night. So glad I did. Delicious.

Great experience. The "cut of the day" ribeye steak was worth it for $54, which paired well with the Chateau Miraval Rosé.

Enjoy this restaurant many times, but tonight my skirt steak was too rare for medium, and my husbands spicy chicken sandwich was just ok. But we like this restaurant, and have had many excellent meals in the past, and will be returning. I would like to see more new items on the menu.

This day I had my 1st "Skirt Steak" and Oh my was it delicious. How it was prepared displayed and enjoyed. Our server Sahira took great care of us and look forward to my next Skirt Steak abnd hopefully the same cook!!

Food was fast and delicious. We had Deviled eggs, brussell sprouts, and margherita pizza as appetizers For our entrées we had the steak and mashed potatoes, the steak was well seasoned and the potatoes so creamy and flavorful, the meal came with broccoli. For drinks we had Run Away Brides. Dessert was “Tiramisu” it was the best I’ve had, ever!!!

Ordered the bone marrow that is topped with some sort of tomato sauce. There was hardly any bone marrow and could only taste the tomato. Our waitress did however make it right and bring us a new one that was better and actually had bone marrow on it. I had the ribeye special and it was pretty tough for a ribeye and I found myself chewing for a while. I will say the flavor was very good. Everything else was great, especially the Thai Brussels sprouts.

It is always nice there the food is good my wife had a pot pie it was very bland, and I ordered a salad and the server did not bring it. Those are things that we can deal with but bland food is not all that cool

Market Tavern is always our “Go To” spot for a date dinner. Start out at the bar for a specialty crafted cocktail and move on to a great dinner! Their menu definitely has something for all taste buds. I would highly recommend the Thai Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer!!

The food was good. I ordered the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and the pot pie for dinner. The service was very slow though and we ran out of water at the table. Our server took a long time in coming back to us.

It has been a while since we have eaten here. We were pleasantly surprised to find the food quality and presentation have greatly improved. There were 3 in our party. Each entree was done well. The pork chop was outstanding, as were the accompanying sides!! Our server was pleasant was attentive and pleasant. While the food was good, the ambiance was marred by the dress of the waitstaff and hostess. The person who approached the front desk sloppily dressed was the hostess. Our poor server wore a badly soiled apron. The manager should have noticed and got a clean one. I hope Market Tavern will take notice and have the ambiance match their food.

I have been enjoying the Pizza with mushrooms.....lots of them..... this is probably my 4 th time enjoying it ...... better each time. McKaley(I think) took good care of us

Food and drinks were really good loved the garlic butter with the skirt steak and mashed potatoes. To drink i had the punch drunk love with tequila, a bit strong but enjoyable the grapefruit made it tasty lol.

It was a girl’s night out. One of my babes just got hired and we were celebrating. The vibes were 10/10. Our server was great! The service was prompt, the food was good, and we were very happy. Thanks for a good night!

One of my wife’s favorite places to have lunch and dinner, we’ve always had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately in our last visit, we were not sat in the table that we requested, also, there was food on the ground that our server did not pick up, and I end up stepping all over it. The food tasted great, unfortunately, the food was lukewarm, it also took a very long time for my wife to get her glass of wine which in that time her pizza got cold. I would also like to suggest that your managers be more proactive in greeting and getting to know your regular customers, checking on your customers to see how their service and food is would be nice.
