This is my first experience at one of Jean-Georges’ restaurants and I wasn’t expecting French Laundry but I was looking forward to a good experience. But this was an epic management failure. It started with me sitting there for ten minutes waiting for someone to come by. And then when I ordered a Maker’s Mark Manhattan to start, my server had absolutely no idea what a Manhattan was. He had to bring the bartender over to figure out what I wanted. The whole dining experience would be best described as disorganized chaos. And it’s a shame. Because the staff are all very kind and friendly; but they have been set-up to fail because of poor training and invisible management. Watching food come up from the kitchen was sad; none of the staff could pick out their dishes. On the food quality side it was excellent. Solid five stars. The wine be the glass program is pathetic for a restaurant of this caliber. Three red wines to choose from, for example, none of them better than mediocre. I should have been suspicious when I was so easily able to get a reservation the night before. I write this at 8:15pm on a Saturday night on the first weekend in May which is prime tourist season, and the restaurant is empty. I’ve watched them seat only three tables in 45 minutes. I really hope they get their act together for the good people who work there. Go for the food, but expect to be underwhelmed by the experience especially at the price points. Reviews can lie. How full a dining room is on a peak Saturday night tells the story.

Great setting for a Sunday evening. Very attentive service. Very broad menu which compels one to return. Attractive people, great location. FUN.

Merveilleux dîner comme toujours, à la table parisienne du grand chef Jean Georges … Magnifique carpaccio de daurade, Surprenante pizza à l’avocat … Et un incroyable turbot à l’ail des ours. Bravo à toute l’équipe, Et surtout RAJOO, Louisa, Morgane et Flo. À bientôt.

Good restaurant overall. Food good and well presented. Service was reasonable. The place can be excessively noisy when full. Worse was when the waitresses started rearranging tables and chairs next to our table with no respect for the sitting guests. They made so much noise we could not have a conversation. They could have waited 10-15 min for us to leave and then made all the noise they wanted.

The cocktails were great. Lovely wine list. The shrimp starter was delicious. The experience went downhill from there. Sides arrived after the meal was finished with no apology. The lamb and ravioli were bland. The service was not what you'd expect from a gourmet restaurant.

Family outing in Paris, Jean-Georges is a favorite in NYC. Service was friendly and prompt, food was very good and drinks and atmosphere were great.

The staff was just amazing!! The food took a while to be served but once we started eating, the staff made sure they made us feel welcome and checked on every detail.Raju the manager was the warmest person and made sure we had the best experience! We ordered the Black plates and it was a burst of subtle flavors! Desserts were great too

- tres longue attente de la prise de commande de l’apéritif au plat - le maître d’hôtel était plus aux petits soins pour les hôtes étrangères que pour nous; arrivées bien après nous, commandes prises avant nous - peu de St Jacques - poulet en croûte pas exceptionnel - la serveuse se plaignait du manque de personnel , elle nous a proposé de nous offrir des desserts pour s’excuser ce que nous avons refusé. Elle est quand même revenue avec un seul dessert et 4 cuillères, mais nous avions l’appétit coupé par cette soirée ratée. Je connaissais ce restaurant à titre Professionnel mais je ne reviendrai plus

Listen!!!! Come closer and listen! This is on the top 3 best dining experiences I’ve had. First of, I got there way earlier than my reservation time and I was still accommodated without any issues. The food was amazing!! Everything I had was super tasty and 10/10. Food was fresh and everything on their menu was exciting so I’m definitely going back to try other stuff. Now the manager!! I didn’t ask his name but I’m sure he remembers mine. This man is just amazing. He took his time to come to my table to make sure everything was going well, introduced his family to me and even gave complimentary drinks. What a guy!!! Restaurant closed at 11 but nobody forced me out. I took my time and finished the free drinks I got and ended up leaving around 11:30. I definitely got an experience I will never forget. Can’t wait to take my family to dine at Market by Jean Georges.

The atmosphere is very beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The service was outstanding! It was our first night in Paris and the staff made us feel very welcome. The cocktails were delicious. I had a pomegranate martini and my daughter had the Bellini. Overall the food was good. I had the sea scallops and my daughter had the filet. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Overall, we thought that Market was very good!

I booked a dinner here for my family for my grandmas birthday. It was the most amazing service I have ever experienced. All of the staff went above and beyond. I have a nut allergy and was able to eat basically everything on the menu, and they brought me the recipe book to make sure. The food was outstanding and the desserts were even better. Would absolutely come again!! If you're ever in Paris this is a need to visit!

Good, but nothing brilliant. The bread was of very average quality, you can find better in many brasseries in Paris. The service was also just okay; the staff was friendly, but they were clearly understaffed and doing their best. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I won't be returning. I'd prefer to try other restaurants in Paris. Having visited many of Jean-Georges' restaurants in the US and abroad, it's disappointing that the one in France doesn't live up to the same level.

Made reservations from the US 2 months ago on open table. We love high-end fine dining, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. This was one of the best Valentines experiences to date. Rose petals on every table and service was exceptional. We will return for sure.

Our server was really attentive and entertaining. The desserts were dilicious the fries too the burger meat could be a bit more seasoned. But overal great experience.

We enjoyed Market - great setting, table ware and glasses. Food excellent - quite expensive but good quality. Preferred the starter and main. Would definitively go back as excellent service and not noisy.

We have eaten at Jean George restauraunts in 4 countries on 3 continents (Asia, USA and Europe). This was by far the most luke warm experience. The French-Asian "fusion" was taken so literally and the pasta which was unessesarially called 'bolognese' just tasted like a packet of chinese 5 spice mixed with grocery store curry powder was added to a mushroom saute. It was almost inedible. We ate it searly becasue we were hungry were not willing to waste. The pasta itself was very fresh but the sauce lacked skill and emotion. My husband got a salad which was unbalanced and boring. The guacamole was very good however, fresh, nuanced and original. Really mediocre experience I am sorry to say. It felt like when you go to England and they try to serve "ethnic" food from a British chef who dated an Asian once, eats only fish and chips and has never left the village.
