For groups of 9-14, we have curated a four-course, family style menu highlighting Marisi classics. This menu is $75 per guest, excluding tax and gratuity. If you would like to upgrade your menu selection, please reach out to the General Manager, Steven Schwob, at sschwob@marisilajolla.com. We do require a credit card to secure your reservation. Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours in advance of your reservation. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged $20 per guest.

Although the vibe of this place is amazing, it’s not worth the money. The drinks were small and only okay, took a surprising amount of time for them to come out for how empty the place was. Do not waste your money on the charcuterie board. House made italian style cured meats + italian cheese equals a few pieces of prosciutto and 1 type of cheese with pickled veggies on a plate - would not consider this a meat and cheese board. Big disappointment for a fat check.

Just visited Marisi for my wife’s birthday dinner and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Service was exceptional and every dish came swiftly, tasted amazing, and was plated beautifully. Highly recommend Marisi and we will definitely be back!

I wish the experience was more consistent, but this time round orders where correct, staff took 20 mins to initially ask for drinks and got the basics wrong.

We had such a great time! It was our last night before my boyfriend left for a 6 month deployment and this was the perfect date to send him off on. The food was amazing as well as the service.

Lovely place wonderful service. Food was very very salty for all of us (4) I was there a month after this place opened and loved the food . It was different this time around. Not as savory as it was before . I had to send my plate back but I must add that they were very accommodating. It was still a lovely evening, but Marisi is not a top choice for me.

Fantastic restaurant. We had our puppy who’s 5 months old and we were welcomed and got a fantastic table on the terrace. Super amazing experience. Food was delcious and great service. Highly recommend. Great vibe and the interior is epic too! I highly recommend this place We will be back!

Went to Marisi for my graduation dinner and had an amazing experience. Great ambiance, friendly/ knowledgeable staff, and the food was incredible. 10/10 recommend!

First time here and what a wonderful surprise! The rigatoni dish is probably the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. can’t wait to go back and try some other things. from the look of the focaccia another guest was eating, I’m definitely ordering that when I go back, highly recommend!

Food and service plus ambiance were all outstanding!!! Love the darker Vermouth drink, such a winner and the green herb sauce for dipping the Foccacia is a delish!

We went for our friend's birthday and sat out on the beautiful covered patio. Travis was our server and he did a fantastic job. The food and wine were delicious. I definitely want to go back here.

We were excited to try Marisi - service was fine and the food was hit and miss. The Carbonara was the highlight. We were steered into the Einkorn Cavatelli, and it was 'ok' - there wasn't much meat and it ate a little sweet, and not in a good way. Buratta salad was standard and cocktails were good ... we found a nice bottle of wine on our own which was also good. Overall - I will not be rushing back, however, if I do go again, I will definitely order the Carbonara.

The atmosphere was the only good thing about the meal. The service was mediocre. They were out of the drink I wanted to order, were slow to bring drink orders, and brought out our appetizers and entrees at the same time. The food wasn’t hot, likely because they didn’t remake it after bringing it out the first time, and it didn’t have much flavor. The waiter only came to take our order and bring the check.

The staff was excellent, very friendly. The floors are all tile, so not a place for a quiet dinner. The food had good flavor. However portions sizes are questionable. My wife and I were full, but $30 for smallish portion of paste…. Would recommend going at lest once.

We had a 9:15 reservation, the place was pretty full when we arrived. The people at reception seemed like they had better things to do than be warm and welcoming. Hoping that experience would change when our server arrived. It did not at all! She was unfriendly, barely listened and was completely disinterested in being of service. The food runners were friendly and the food was pretty good but overall the service SUCKED!

We had the best time at Marisi tonight! The serving staff took such good care of us! We were hoping to try a lot of different things, so the staff put together an impromptu tasting menu. It was truly incredible! We’re alcohol-free, and we were served 2 amazing mocktails with our 8 course meal. We were too full for a dessert, but our server surprised us with a mini-version of one of the desserts that we thought sounded delicious. Thank you so much, Marisi, for an amazing and delicious experience!!

We had a nice corner booth inside. Cocktails & appies were great! The food is delicious, but servings are not really sized for sharing. Perfect for a single serving. The restaurant is beautiful & the service was great! Definitely give this restaurant a try!

Most authentic pasta texture I’ve had in SD so far. For Italian food it made you feel light after and not heavy just like I would feel in Italy which made me feel like they’re using great ingredients. There were a few speed bumps that brought our experience down but overall would come back. First our waitress was extremely monotone and not really helpful, it was a Saturday night after all so maybe she was not the happiest to be there. Second the portion to price ratio was on the higher side. I mean 2 blossoms in an order is a little ridiculous, and the pasta had so much sauce yet not enough pasta. Third THE SALT! The dinner could’ve been an 11/10 had it not been for how salty both of our pasta dishes and the sauce in our branzino was. Maybe an off night for the chef but 3 different sauces were all overly salted so I’m going to assume someone just got sprinkle happy back there. Last, they called to confirm my open table reservation and asked if we’re celebrating anything. I told them it was my husbands birthday and there wasn’t a single thing done to celebrate. We ordered dessert so we can sing to him, let the waitress know it was his birthday hoping for a candle, and nothing. Leaving this review not to complain (or else the stars would’ve been lower) but hoping to return in the future with these MINOR fixes taken care of! Overall love the ambiance &!loved the menu!

Was looking forward to bistecca Florentine which should have been a rare to medium rare steak with a little olive oil as it would be served in Florence but instead was swamped with a butter sauce which ruined a $200 steak. Should’ve tried to Americanized it Loved the bar and decor rest of the food was just ok

Lovely place, great vibe and hopping! My husbands pasta dish wasn’t the best So tried carbonara and that was much better. Great cocktails! Salad was tasty and a bit tarragon-y which wasn’t advertised but fortunately we liked it 😋

Overall a bit overvalued for portion size, but no complaints on taste. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the service was attentive and cordial. The ambiance is a bit louder than expected fur to it being an open patio and still having music on speakers. Only reason to knock off a star was that the dessert menu was lacking. All in all, I would return perhaps when their menu changes for the next season.

The service was top notch! Very attentive, knowledgeable and consistent. The restaurant is extremely beautiful. The food, which my wife and I love, didn’t seem to have the same creative spark as it has in previous menus. The quality of the food is impeccable. We will be back!

Last night we had one of the finest dining experiences ever. Our server was Gavin. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and made recommendations we selected, that we were very happy with. Throughout the entire evening, he made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant, frequently checking in on us, making sure we were taken care of. This is the first restaurant where the server took it upon himself to bring us an extra appetizer which he overheard us discussing. Quite the surprise. I highly recommend treating yourself to Marisi for a special evening. If you do decide to try them out, I would highly recommend asking for one of Gavin‘s tables. Thank you again, Gavin we will see you again.
