Very nice staff. The food was fresh and delicious. A cute place where we watched pelicans, gulls and a seal.

We were here several times in February and made sure to come back on our next trip through Berkeley. It was worth it! The staff is always friendly, and the food is fantastic (today’s special featuring fresh caught halibut risotto was fabulous). Besides, where else can you watch a pelican and a sea lion squabble over a fishing spot while you enjoy delightful seafood?! We will continue to come back whenever our travels bring us through Berkeley - and with a place like this to enjoy a meal, we may find our boat wandering back here more often.

Twice I have been, and both times service was extremely limited. The people who work there are nice, just not enough. Even though we had a reservation, they weren’t ready and took 15 min to set up a table. Then long wait to order. Long wait for drinks, etc. even getting the bill was a struggle. They definitely need a couple more people who can take orders, deliver food, do bills. It seemed like 1 person was taking care of 10 tables.

We were very impressed with the quality of the food and graciousness and attentiveness of the service, despite it being a very busy Mother's Day dinner service. Everything we ordered--the raw oysters, the cioppino, and both desserts, a panda cotta and a lemon tart--was truly perfect. Not having been there before, we were a little disappointed in the ambience, a boxy garage-like setting, although overlooking the boat docks on the marina if you were lucky enough to get a table by the windows. The prices seemed like they would have been more appropriate to a white tablecloth, carpeted dining room kind of place.

For some reason they decided to offer a “special” menu for Mother’s Day with out any kid friendly options, when 90% of the tables there were mothers with their children. We started by ordering drinks which did not come out until after our entrees did. Steak was extremely overcooked and the second iteration was undercooked. Waitress tried to smooth things over with bad jokes but kinda just made it worse. Additionally there was very little parking. Will not return and suggest others to skip this place.

Atmosphere: 4 (cute dockside hangout with open windows to the Bay and docked boats) Service: 4 (server was very friendly but our carafe of water wasn't ever refilled even though close to empty, and we were left hanging with our bill for at least 15 minutes; there might have only been one or two servers for the entire restaurant) Food: 2 (we had furikake fries with gochujang mayo, half dozen oysters, fritto misto, and crab cakes to share. Everything was underseasoned. The combo of furikake with fries was not good. My Korean friend said she couldn't even tell gochujang was in the mayo. The Frito misto had a light cornstarch covering that flaked off easily, which rendered the seafood tasteless. The crab cakes were overcooked on the outside and very small (the size of half dollars). Again, underseasoned. Value: Based on the fact that everything was underseasoned and the portions very small compared to the price point, I would not come back. Even the view, service, and atmosphere cannot make up for mediocre food and drinks.

There are't very many options for vegetarians which was super disappointing. No appetizers for vegetarians and we waited over 45 mins to eat after being seated.

Ambience and service were fabulous. It is an outdoor patio with lots of heaters and shades for when the breezes pick up. The salad I ordered was listed as a main course and was mostly greens, with a few nuts and beets with goat cheese. For a main course, I would have expected a larger portion of both greens and the additional ingredients. My husband and daughter enjoyed their steak and salmon dishes. We wukk definitely return!
