Walter's Bistro offers contemporary fine dining in Colorado Springs. One might not think exquisite seafood could be found so far from the ocean, but this eatery just minutes from downtown pulls it off very well with steamed mussels, salmon fillet and pan seared scallops, just to name a few.

While delicious seafood in the mountains may be a welcome surprise when visiting Walter's Bistro, there is plenty on the menu for the landlubbers. For example, the power lunch crowd will love the bacon wrapped meatloaf, 1/2 pound Wagyu bistro burger and the grilled bistro steak even if the seafood crepes do not tempt them. The dinner menu at Walter's Bistro includes Colorado white trout, Chilean sea bass, wild mushroom ravioli, smoked duck breast and osso bucco.

So much fun to be eating such fabulous food with wonderful wait staff. Loved being there. We enjoyed being able to talk and entertain my sister on her last night. My husband and I will go back again very soon. Great night.

This was our second time to eat at Marigold! Both times we have sat at the bar and enjoyed jokes by Jimmy!

Escargot is delicious! Lobster bisque creamy and velvety. Dover Sole Oscar Style flaky and seared to perfection. Service is impeccable with warm, friendly staff and welcoming environment!

This was our first time to eat at this restaurant and we were there to celebrate Mothers Day. We were greeted by the host and seated quickly. The menu had plenty of options so everyone was able to get the type of food they most enjoy. All three in our party were very happy with the quality of the food, wine list and the service. I had the sea bass and it was excellent and my family got the pasta (two different ones) and they were very pleased as well. We all ordered desert -- a cheesecake, the chocolate cake and the key lime pie. All were delicious! Highly recommend!

First time visit for my wife’s birthday. Could not have been more pleased with food and service and the quiet atmosphere (music was playing but we didn’t have to yell to be heard)!

Tasty food but the service was quite slow. It was our first time there so this might not be typical. My husband and I will try it again another night. Hopefully quicker service in the future!

Dining room is noisy, which makes conversation difficult. Food was pretty good, but the shrimp was undercooked. Manager brought another meal and didn’t charge for first one. Also brought a complimentary dessert.

Absolutely wonderful meal and service. Jake (from State Farm) provided an exceptional experience. Not only was the food delicious, great presentation and great value; but, Jake was extremely professional and provided great conversation!!! My husband’s “cappuccino” ended the meal perfectly!! !! 👍🏻

After being seated promptly upon arrival, we were greeted by one of our three servers. Food courses were presented in a timely sequence. The two different salmon dishes we ordered were prepared well and hot upon arrival. The attention of our servers was perfect.
