What a fabulously refreshing dining experience in our local area my wife and I had on Tuesday 14th May 2024. The customer service and attention to detail from the restaurant staff at The Marian was incredible, nothing was too much trouble and the food was exceptional. This is the type of dining establishment that we have craved for many years in North Wales. Well done to all involved with The Marian, you have absolutely nailed it.

The staff are absolutely amazing, couldn’t do enough for you they were polite helpful and friendly anything you needed they were there to help. Food absolutely gorgeous we all had the roast dinner and I would recommend this. This is the second time we have dined at the view and on both occasions the food is exceptional. And service even better.

Lovely food and the staff are great. We really enjoyed our meal at the Marian. We went for Sunday dinner and didn’t expect live jazz. The location has good views and if you want a pre or post dinner cocktail there is a lovely cocktail bar next to the dining area. Additionally a lounge bar for after dinner drinks or coffees. Totally recommend it was so nice.

Very nice modern setting with great views of the North Wales coast. Very polite staff and helpful. Food was too a very high standard and the menu has something for everyone.

Food and surroundings are nice , enjoyed our meal ..The soup could have been a little warmer and the service was a bit slow but all the staff were very pleasant , woukd recommend a visit .

Visited for the first time Sunday 28 April for Sunday lunch with my two sisters, the food, service was 100% And the entertainment was fabulous fully enjoyed it while having our lunch.

Visited the View restaurant for Sunday lunch. Great ambiance in a beautiful setting. Live music was a great bonus. Food was beautifully presented and tasted lovely. Staff were prompt, professional and friendly. Fixed price menu was very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely venue, food was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was fabulous. Definitely will go again. All the staff tried really hard to please,very enthusiastic

This resort has recently opened, we ate here Friday evening, the food was excellent (probably the best Sea Bass I have ever eaten), we then had a full breakfast and buffet on the Saturday morning and a Sunday roast to end the weekend. The quality of all meals was excellent, no cutting corners on quality. Enjoyable atmosphere slightly spoiled by customers walking through the restaurant area to access various parts of the building. Hopefully this will ease when completion allows a different access to gym pool and sports bar.

Noise levels was unacceptable dining tables full which you accept but they had a man playing a saxophone and couldn’t hear my friends talking. Just in the end just stopped talk to each other and spoiled the birthday dinner in a positive side the lounge area was lovely and enjoyed a few hours drinking over looking the pool and overall will come back the bar manager was very professional And listened to are concern about the restaurant noise. Maybe a few teething’s issues but worth going back. Thank you

This venue has only been open a couple of weeks and it was greatly anticipated. I wanted somewhere for lunch with some family to celebrate a special occasion and this definitely fit the bill. It's a beautiful modern space. We ate at Sunday lunchtime so the menu is mostly roast dinners but there was a choice of a few alternatives too. Everything we had was delicious. There was a mix up on one of the main course orders and one of the children's side dishes. The main course was replaced quickly and was well worth the wait. The staff are probably still getting used to the systems and the handheld devices they use seem a little small when searching menus. Might be a good idea for waiting staff to read back orders. I think drink orders, including coffees, are diverted to the bar staff and these took a little time. Overall all of the staff were well presented, professional and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

Unfortunately they didn’t have the chicken and the seabass! So we did have to change our order. The staff were incredible & service was outstanding. We often find that post Covid restaurants are often quite short staffed & the service falls short. But our experience last night was so refreshing - the staff were attentive, professional & so friendly. It was so lovely to see hospitality staff enjoying their roles instead of being run off there feet. The food was faultless, we enjoyed a flat iron steak and the chickpea curry - we couldn’t fault the food what so ever. We didn’t enjoy the blue strip lighting, it did feel like we were eating in a walk in chiller which is such a shame as the decor in the dining room is incredible. But we understand that’s just personal preference We will definitely return - but it will be for lunch, in nice natural lighting. Well done to all at the View last night, such an enjoyable evening.

Confusing entrance to restaurant at front, no signage.The atmosphere is lovely, shame about people using the restaurant as a walkway and some in their gym gear. Attentive waitress but too attentive as was still eating and chewing and my plate was taken away several courses! I forgot to order sauce with steak, not reminded to either so no upselling, I asked waitress said there would be a wait for sauce as restaurant was busy, not the answer to give! The steak was nice but the watercress and whatever was sliced into it wasn’t, was a challenge to eat! Beetroot and feta nibble, don’t bother as tasteless and doesn’t marry. Eton mess 3 minuscule pieces of meringue and 2 slices of fruit just full of cream and ice cream on top why? They need a good maitre D to tell the staff when and when not to clear tables, we felt like we were rushed as could not finish chewing our food! The restaurant is lovely and could be so much better if they closed off people walking through and have an experienced Maitre D. More training for staff on ordering and upselling, plus no one asked us if we had any allergies! Toilet looks nice but only one roll of paper on the holder no extra as my cubicle was nearly empty, no peg for your bag or coat so had to put my bag on the floor in the toilet!!! FYI best park at the back for restaurant as no sign in front door if your going the right way, looks like your coming from the back door even though it’s the front, at the front there is one walk way over the wet grass and a car was blocking it, so not good having to dirty your shoes before entering. No one greeted us this going in the front way we had to walk towards the kitchen door! Hope it picks up as it was a lovely looking restaurant

Beautiful restaurant with Amazing View. All staff very welcoming and attentive, especially Diane, thank you. Food to a very high standard, plentiful, delicious. Would highly recommend.

We booked a table of six for a family get -together on Sunday late afternoon at The Marian. We had a lovely dinner with us all having a roast dinner each and a desert each and cocktails. The atmosphere was lovely with your lovely staff looking after us. Nothing was too much to ask and we were greeted with lovely smiles from the staff from start to finish. Definitely recommending The Marian to all friends and family members. Good luck with your fabulous resort.. Best wishes The baker family x

Luxurious surroundings !!!We were so impressed by the high end , sophisticated,attention to detail finish the owners have achieved at The Marian Resort . It is a fabulous venue that we are very fortunate to have on our doorstep!. We dined at The View restaurant on Easter Sunday with family .The entire experience was faultless from the polite , respectful and welcoming staff , all dressed immaculately, to the high quality , really tasty food we were served in a truly unique restaurant setting .Thankyou to all for a wonderful afternoon. Looking forward to sampling the other facilities at The Marian!!

Maybe some staff training prior to opening would have been an idea. Staff did not know where toilets were to advise guests and did not understand the menu. Venue was nice but menu choice was not great. Certainly in no rush to go back!
