Great service and food consistently. Been here several times over the past six years. Service great. Wine list changed after 3 years and server guided me to a wine that was excellent. Restaurant doesn’t disappoint.

The food was excellent, especially the custom made omelettes. The service was also very very good. Our only complaint was that it was quite noisy and we had hoped for a little quieter breakfast location. We also did not like the techno music in the background.

I had the most fabulous dinner recently here. The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. I had a small Caesar salad and the New York strip with truffle fries. I've been to France many, many times and I believe this was the best steak & frites I've ever had!! I had a delicious glass of Cabernet Franc and it was nice good pour for the price. I would come back to this restaurant in a heartbeat and wish I lived closer so I could bring friends. Well done. Keep up the good work!!

I just returned home after the worst Sunday brunch ever. It was an Easter Sunday set menu that sounded nice. The food was appalling. It was no better than a cafeteria buffet where most of the food is reheated from Gordon Foods. Except it was all cold. We spent nearly $200 (including tax and tip) and added a carafe of mimosas - the only nice thing about the meal. It turned me off from returning for an ordinary evening out. I don’t recommend.

Margaux felt extremely sterile, bland, and soulless. The staff were a redeeming quality, but otherwise I would not recommend going unless you're staying at the hotel for business. Not a great spot for date night.

We went for breakfast. Omelette station makes fantastic and filling omelettes. Hot food on the buffet along with the pastries, fruit,yogurt, and breads were a good assortment and all fresh and delicious. Service was above average.

What an amazing experience! I haven’t been that happy with a dining experience in ages. Our server Brandon-he was perfect. Absolutely went above and beyond. The Kitchen was also so thoughtful, and our host was helpful! Thanks for a great night for my family.

Great place to eat, especially for Brunch. But even at dinner, never another under par. If you’re there for brunch, and not concerned with calorie/c have Elvis make you French style scrambled eggs.

I celebrate my birthday here with a table of 10! They made my birthday extra special. They had happy birthday on the menu. The sweet dessert was so good. The service from Jaslyn was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we was enjoying our time and food!

This used to be a very nice restaurant and we were looking forward to our dinner last night. How it has changed... Service was poor, usually too slow (after our waiter brought the wine list we didn't see him again for 15 minutes) but at times too fast (appetizer arriving about the same time as the salad). Then the time between starters and dinner took forever. The food sounds good on the menu but was disappointing. The escargot appetizer was so bad we stopped after the first couple of bites (small, chewy, and with zero flavor, and the accompanying "toasted baguette" was just toasted strips of white bread). My wife's scallops (entree) were so salty they made her mouth burn. The steak au poivre was cooked nicely but not even a hint of peppercorns in the sauce, basically just a steak. They were nice about taking a couple of things off our bill, but we would not go back. There are many good restaurants in Grand Rapids and sadly this is no longer one of them.

What a special Valentines Dinner we had at Margaux! It was an experience we will remember from the complimentary champagne at the beginning and truffles at the end and every presentation and taste in between! Our server was fabulous and we truly are still talking about our time there.

It was like they converted a hotel lobby into a restaurant. They seated us near the very entrance, and every waiter, guest, and breeze went right by us. I could have high fived the couple next to us, they were so close. The whitefish I ordered fishy and unpalatable. I have no idea how it has 4.5 stars google reviews. I wish I would have done more research before booking.

Outstanding service right from the start: genuinely happy greeting us, validating parking & coat-check. Our server, Brandon, was WONDERFUL- excellent drink/food recommendations, friendly, attentive & even when we had to wait a tad for the dessert & bill, he brought complimentary Prosecco…drinks & food were delicious & well-worth the price 👏🏻

When I say wow, I mean just that wow! From the time we walked into the restaurant, beside the host at the stand, who checked our coats, the service, the food were impeccable! Everyone staff member we encountered wished my husband happy birthday, Our waiter Brandon suggested our entire meal and he did not disappoint. From the pairing of the wine to describing the meal we chose. We had a complimentary glass of champagne, he even brought out a birthday brownie he picked out himself for my husband! We will be going back just to try other menu options and to sit in Brandon’s section! Amazing 😊

Every person we interacted with was exceptional. Excellent food, beautifully prepared! We can't wait to be back in Grand Rapids to eat here again! We had a baby, a 5 year- old and 6 adults! Simply outstanding!

Our evening started out properly with a very nice greeting and immediately upon being seated we were greeted by our waitress, who did an outstanding job of helping us with cocktails, understanding the menu and addressing our needs throughout the evening. The wines were served at the proper temperature which does not always happen with other Grand Rapids higher end restaurants. Cocktails were delicious as well. The appetizers of the prawns, onion soup and escargot were outstanding in flavor and presentation. The salad was fresh and properly dressed. Our main courses of Filet mignon au Poivre, and the Lamb tenderloin were beautifully presented and were very tasty , however all four dishes were warm at best and the Filets were very tough and the meat flavor was lacking, but the sauce was excellent. the meat was cooked at Medium and Medium rare as requested. I believe the entree was plated on cold dishes. The sauces and seasoning were perfect to our tastes. Our dessert of the Apple Tart was to die for and will be a future end to our next meal. We had a great time except for the miss on our main courses. We plan to be back soon but Margaux is capable of being a five star experience.

I always enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant. Our sorbet mimosas were delicious, but the brioche buns were a bit dry on our Olive Burgers.

We’ve been dining at Marguax since it was called 616 and the prices keep rising at a ridiculous level. The NY strip is good 😊 which is why we keep coming back but $58 for that grade & size of steak isn’t worth it the sides are unsharable & cost $13 the drinks were just $15 this summer but this weekend went up to $17 Im not sure if we’ll be back. We love the staff & service but for the price I would expect a nicer ambiance it feels like you’re sitting in a large cafeteria…

I love this place for a special occasion . It was my birthday and they gave both my boyfriend and I free dessert . The ambiance was beautiful, the food was amazing . Two thumbs up

Margaux managed capacity very well over nearest even news day. We had breakfast twice in the restaurant and got the same server each time and did an outstanding job. We've noticed that the same chef has been at the egg station for many years now and the man conducts a masterclass every time he makes an omelet.

For New Year’s it was an interesting experience. The food choices were very different. The scallops were raw on purpose, which was not terribly appetizing overall . It was fair.

The chef here is absolutely incredible. He has the biggest heart, and it comes out in his cooking. We love having brunch here.
