I came for Sunday Supper and it did not disappoint. This was such a great experience. Imagine soul food with a touch of Caribbean. Fried fish, fried chicken, wings, salmon, brisket, shrimp and grits, pineapple glazed ham, greens, curried chickpeas & Lima beans, and let me not forget to mention those cornbread waffles (chefs kiss). This is a restaurant you have to visit if you’re in Atlanta. I can’t wait to go back and take my girls.

Back for a 2nd visit. We enjoyed the Mothers Day brunch although the original advertisement boasted a different menu for Mothers Day! I was anticipating the pan seared sea bass, oysters, grilled corn, dirty rice, country sausage, peas, mussels and bok choy. However, you all did win my mom over with the standard dinner Buffet. Other than a little false advertising lol the vibes were good and wait staff was friendly!

We enjoyed our time celebrating our mom for Mother's Day at Marcus Bar & Grill. This restaurant has been on her list as she followed the Food Network. The food on the buffet was surprisingly good, as buffets can often be questionable. We loved our food and the price paid was quite reasonable, our only qualm was that my niece who is two was charged for the buffet ($18) and she definitely didn't eat $18 worth of food. We'll be back to try dinner!

The buffet food was sitting and just not good. I am surprised as i have eaten here before and loved it. Not sure why today was so bad.

This is the third time I’ve been here and will be the last time. I love being able to support neighborhood restaurants but not at the expense of bad service from the hostess to our server. I also don’t appreciate bait and switch tactics and then it trying to be splained like I’ve never been to or eaten at a restaurant before.

We really enjoyed our experience at their Saturday Buffet brunch. The selection was good! Only complaint was that the chicken was way too big and grits were a little grainy!

I came here for my birthday and had a great time. $10 parking in a lot that’s walking distance. I was seated soon as my entire party arrived. Kori was our server and was very attentive. Food was amazing. I started with the deviled eggs followed by the catfish and crawfish etoufee with a mocktail as the beverage. My bill totaled to about $70, gratuity not included. It was a 10/10 experience truly.

Marcus B&G was a simply phenomenal dining experience in the Heart of Atlanta. The surrounding neighborhood was warm, welcoming, and clean. Our Greeter and server, Patricia, were the best! The ambiance was a groovy 70s disco with our favorite tunes playing in the background on diners who were all enjoying themselves. With sat at the Chef’s Table with Chef Gary for a bird’s eye view of these amazing complex flavors! Highly recommended.

Food was cold, not enough vegetables offered. Mini corn bread chips were disappointing. Ribbs were ok but lacked flavor as they appeared to be par boiled. Desert was very disappointing. Notified them that it was my wife's birthday. There was no happy birthday song, not even a candle on top of whip cream. $50 a plate is too much for the quality. We will come back and try ordering from the menu.

This was my first time coming to the restaurant for brunch. Normally I come for dinner, which is consistently excellent! Brunch was a great experience. I really enjoyed it. I will definitely come back again.

9/10! We loved the atmosphere. The brunch was great; everything was delicious! Justin, our waiter took great care of us. Only concern was the inability to accommodate our group of nine at one table so we split our reservation (online) into two. Also, the magenta-colored chairs are cute but not very comfortable.

Kudos to Sahadi for making us feel welcome while in Atl. Our dinner consisted of this amazing cornbread along with delicious King of the South. Wonderful atmosphere.

I’m not a fan of restaurants that require your entire party to be present before you can be seated. Especially when I have a reservation and when there are only two people in my party and the second person is just outside getting our car valeted. It’s just rude and pointless. I almost left at that point but decided to stay. Overall, I was expecting more because I’m a huge fan of Marcus S. The lamb chops were unevenly cooked. One of them was rare although I requested them to be cooked medium.

This is my third time visiting siting this restaurant. The food is always outstanding. And every time I come, I bring a friend I noticed the price for the buffet went up and there’s still a 20% gratuity fee regardless of the size of the group. Don’t agree with that part. He was extremely hot inside. The restaurant was 81° other than that great experience.

Brunch was great! Our server Imani was nice, accommodating, and was just a great representation of this establishment. The options for the Sunday brunch buffet were all great, but I really loved the salmon, fried catfish, and cornbread waffle. The ambience was great and it wasn't too loud. I loved the decor and can't wait to return for dinner.

I have been wanting to visit here for months. I was soo excited to try MBG. When I arrived the hostess was very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was very nice. I just knew I was in for a Great visit. I went on Sunday Supper night so it was an all you can eat buffet. I thought this was a great way to taste multiple offerings……..I quickly found out that either coming on Sunday was a mistake or the time of my Reservation was a mistake. Just about NONE of the food looked fresh. It al looked like it had been sitting for hours. Most of the food I had was cold, the fried chicken all looked overcooked and burned. The mac & cheese was dry. The balsamic dressing bottle had about a tablespoon of dressing in it. The only things that looked fresh were the ribs, catfish and salmon. It stayed like this for the majority of the hour I was there. The shrimp cocktail was refreshed and the cocktail sauce was amazing. The waffles though were not refreshed while I was there were good. The greens were good, a bit too spicy for me. The fried chicken look over cooled and burned and was cold and not crunchy. the head chef actually came out after i had been there an hour and started to fix the line. He made some fresh fried chicken and I got a piece thinking yess fresh cooked chicken but it still was not crunchy. The Catfish was just ok. Again not crunchy. I all the way pass on the mac and cheese. The corn muffins were ok. The star of everything I ate though was the Salmon! I could eat that all day long. All in all I was disappointed by my visit but I don’t write off a restaurant by one visit. I will try it again but i will go when it is just the regular menu. Service was great. I will try it again and hopefully the food will be better.

The food on the Sunday Brunch buffet was not the best. Flies were on the platter of boiled shrimp, the fried chicken was soggy, the brisket was very tough and the bartender was out of some ingredients for a limited list of specialty cocktails. Marcus Samuelsson should be ashamed of his Atlanta location!

The space is nice. Host a little snarky and the food is expensive. In addition the music was so loud you could barely hear your table mates. I would go back but during the week when it’s not so noisy.
