The food was amazing!!! Our server was friendly and efficient. I don't love the set up at this place where you have to get your own wine. We wanted a white which was in a cooler unfortunately we couldn't open the door of the cooler because a man was sitting there. So I grabbed what I could reach. Once the server came back with the ice bucket and the wine, the gentleman that came to fill our water knocked over the entire bucket and the bottle of wine. Well, he was very apologetic, he wanted to know what we wanted to do. Did we want a brand new bottle of wine or did he want us to have him buy us each a glass, that should not have been our decision, the bottle should have been replaced. He mentioned several times that he would be paying for it. It was awkward.

We had 7 pm reservations, were seated quickly and our waiter, Will, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wines and menu. We enjoyed a delicious meal celebrating Mother's Day early to avoid the crowds. The Linguini Tritone was exceptional and Veal Palermo delicious. This was our fifth time going to Marcello's and will continue to be one of our favorites on the North Shore!!

I feel compelled to let the readers know I normally do not normally go to Italian restaurants because the food is too heavy ‘old world Italian style’. If you are looking for heavy acidity Italian go elsewhere. *Our table had crabmeat contessa, Fried Brussel sprouts and calamari all delicious. Ceased salad and soup of the day, linguini Triton and lasagna. The chef has found a way to create a light flavorful cream sauce that is phenomenal! The Caesar salad is one of the best on the Northshore. The tiramisu was also light and airy. The service was impeccable also. I will definitely be back. Marcello’s in Covington is now permanently added to our go to list for special occasions! I suggest you add it to your list!

The atmosphere was lovely and kept me captivated constantly. Food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time as well. Easily can say I will be coming back at some point in the future!

Food was flavorful. Not really anything unique as compared with other Italian restaurants in the area. Service was excellent! Nice atmosphere except tables are a little close. Happy hour is a plus. Will definitely visit again.

Well appointed venue. We were greeted as entered by owner(manager). The menu choices were excellent, as were the wine and cocktail choices. Our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the various entrees. All in all a great experience in our opinion. Will certainly return!

This was our first time dining at Marcellos’s and we will definitely be back! Everything was top notch. This is a popular small place so I recommend reservations on a Friday or Saturday evening. I highly recommend the Linguine Tritone.

This was our second dining experience at Marcelo’s. The first time was good enough to return for the second time. After this experience the restaurant is going on my “worst ever food list “ My wife ordered the Grouper fish special & I had the chicken Palermo. The fish tasted old and oily. The chicken was ok & served with tasteless pasta. The calamari was overcooked and tasted like old, dirty fry oil.

The atmosphere was quiet and nice. White table clothes. We were brought to our table right away. We had an early reservation, so that might account for the quiet time. The food and service were great. The bread was fantastic. You can sit outside or on back porch that was closed in or the dining room. It was our anniversary whichninputnonnthe reservation. Nothing was said or done to make it special. We would go back again.
