Chef Murphy’s menu fuses fresh, seasonal ingredients with elements of his background, spending significant time in his childhood and as an adult in Italy and his traditional French culinary training. The food menu changes monthly, offering a four-course prix fixe priced at $75. Dish examples from the opening include butter lettuce salad chive, tarragon, dijon vinagrette; Spring Umbricelli Spaghetti with Asparagus; Braised Pork Shoulder and Parmasean Polenta; and a Raspberry Crème Mille Feuille for dessert.

I was excited to eat at Marc 179 and it didn't disappoint. I love the set menu [which had a crisp, spring vibe] and the food was seasoned nicely, presented at the proper temperature and delicious! [can we talk about the asparagus starter, risotto and tender lamb!!] and it was great to see Marc Murphy greet the customers! The servers were professional and atmosphere was sexy! It's nice to walk into a restaurant, not have a ton of individuals waiting to get in/not being rushed by the servers because they are looking to turn over the tables quickly! Thank you Marc Murphy for always serving flavorful food and having a great play list!!

Fixed menu of creative dishes that are all delicious and perfectly executed. Friendly staff. Marc is there and makes time to make guest feel comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

Maybe I'm just not a prix fixe person but it would have been nice to have some options. Two courses had asparagus and peas as their stars which are unlikely to make many people's top foods lists. The vibe was cool in that the space was makeshift but nicely done although it was quite annoying to have the lights continually flutter whenever the a/c came on or shut off.

Food was incredible, Marc introduced himself to us, talked with us for a while and was so kind. The ambiance was great, would definitely come back in the future.

Show stopping experience at Marc 179. The food, service and ambience was exceptional! The menu is seasonal and the ingredients are fresh. The courses prefixed and the chef created it to be a perfect transition from one to the next. Cannot wait to back!

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was delicious, well portioned, well timed. Such a wonderful experience meeting Marc. Will be thinking about the spring pea risotto for quite some time. We can’t wait to come back!
