Very expensive very mediocre food and service. The hey we’re out of numerous feed and drinks “end of season” (do they order for the season???)

The food was ok, for ok food I expect average prices. A hamburger was $25 with $10 for an extra patty. My side salad I added to my entree was $14 and served at the same time as my meal. Then they charge you a 1% fee to pay for kitchen staff living expenses and sales tax and the gratuity they “suggest” 22% as your waitress watches you fill out the small computer is ON TOP of the tax and extra 1% tax. So I am tipping you on this tax? The server did an ok job and the food was alright but the price was very high compared to the food portions.

Excellent experience, as usual! Staff was friendly and professional, food was just as we wanted, and we sat on the quieter side of the restaurant (which was perfect for dinner). The decor is really fun, too!

We love the Moose. We go back every year on our annual ski trip due to the quality of the food and the experience. Great place. Sad they took the bison meatloaf off the menu, though. That was a gem. The tomato/basil soup, if you're lucky, as the soup of the day is always great.

Nachos, fried green tomatoes, and lava cake were delish!!! Ribs were a little dry but flavor was great. Mashed sweet potatoes were fab as well! We had a great time and our server did a great job with our large party.

Our server, Nick, was the best. He was knowledgeable about the menu (food and bev) and made great recommendations. Everything tasted delicious and the vibe was low key and casual. Perfect for after a day in the slopes.

Service was awesome but the food wasn’t great. I got the ribs, and they were half awesome and half extremely dry. Like maybe they sat under a heat lamp for a long time.

Great real American restaurant! I loved everything about it ! Excellent service , great food , tasteful decorations!!! I wish there were more restaurants like this 😊 I would always come back when at Jackson hole ski resort and I highly recommend it !

My son and love the Moose. Last year and this year we have gone several times during our one week trip. And my Dad used to take me back in the 80s during our trips. Was awesome then too!

Once again Mangy Moose did not disappoint ! Service was great and food was delicious !! The huge pretzel appetizer was awesome. Huckleberry Cosmo was fantastic. Our group had elk stroganoff , bison burgers , and elk burgers. Everything was awesome. We love this place. Highly recommend reservations.

Every time we're in Teton Village, we try a variety of restaurants, and every time, we're BLOWN AWAY with everything at the Moose. It's unpretentious, but incredibly high-quality food and service. It seriously never disappoints!

Not a great experience Nice staff and ambiance but the food was not great Big black hair in carpaccio and after that didn’t want to eat Lovely waiter from Macedonia and manager nice but once a foot long black hair is one your food it puts you off

Were there on Superbowl Sunday. Even with a packed restaurant service was prompt and food was out quickly. Food tasted good, service was great, and drinks were good. A fun place to stop for lunch for a good burger and dinner options are varied and consistently good.

I have eaten lunch in the saloon and breakfast in the belly several times in the past few years, this was my first time in the dining room for the evening meal. I was hosting a journalist from Australia, and noted in my reservation that the meal was a business occasion. They sat us at the best two top in the upstairs area. The food was excellent and our server gave us great service. Will definitely be hosting more meals there!

Have been going to the Mangy Moose for years & was very disappointed in their new menu. Hard to find anything we wanted. Bar in the middle of the dining room, detracts from former ambiance. Not sure we’ll be back.

Overall the experience was good and our server was excellent. My wife ordered the bison burger and it was great and she loved it. My order was the steelhead trout but I substituted the couscous for some french fries. First mistake was to put the fries on the bottom of the plate and cover them with the olives, onions and peppers and the trout filet. The filet was smothered with sour cream which overwhelmed the trout. Needless to say 3/4 of the fries were not edible. Not the servers fault but the cook who plated the dish. My mistake for choosing this dish. We will return again since everything else looked very good.
