Food was super expensive and not very good. Guacamole had so much lime, clearly made earlier and had lime so it wouldn’t look bad. Couldn’t even get a side order of rice and beans because the menu was so strict. Mainly just served breakfast food. Tacos were good but really tiny. $10 a taco no rice, no beans. Not a meal. The sabor tropical group was really good though! Show only lasted about 15 minutes though. I would not go back but the ambiance was nice

First time dining at Mamazul and had a wonderful experience. Delicious tostadas, striped bass and chocolate cake. Excellent service from Carolina and the whole team. Great addition to the NoMad restaurant scene. Look forward to returning.

The food was excellent and the service was very good. We would have appreciated understanding the tip would be added automatically for a party of 7. We almost double tipped.

My second time here. The food is pretty good if you order correctly. The margaritas are very good. Very alcohol forward. My one complaint is that it’s just too noisy. Never mind the people drinking and yelling at each other, the music is too loud. The ceilings are very high. The tiles on the walls. There’s nothing to absorb the sound and that’s not fun, it’s annoying when you cannot hear your dinner partner. Otherwise, a fun place to stop by for a Mexican fix!

Went for brunch and the ambience was just not it. We were looking for something upbeat with good music to enjoy a boozy brunch. It was so quiet and the music was so low you could other table's conversations. Place was pretty empty. Service was great and fast, but definitely wouldn't come back. Everything felt rushed.

As we walked in, first thing we noticed was how loud the music was. Atmosphere was nice, menu options were very good. Food was very tasty, although a bit pricey (but it is NYC :)). Very hard to hear the waitress or have conversation with the volume of the music.

Truly horrible. We waited 90 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. The first entree and the last entree were served 20 minutes apart. Most of the food was cold. Seemed like we were the first people to ever order food at this place.

I celebrated my 23rd birthday at Mamazul with a party of 10. It could not have been better! I stopped in ahead of time to discuss where we would be seated, and I was given a contact person if I had any questions or concerns. The night of my birthday, the table was ready when we arrived, the margarita pitchers were amazing, and our server poured our drinks into pre-salted glasses. We all ordered off the menu, and the food was delicious. The guacamole was plentiful (I ordered three for the table). Most notable, the servers were SO attentive - checking in with me regularly to see if we needed anything. For my birthday, they played fun music and brought out churros with a big sparkler. They just made the night all-around great! Highly recommend as a place for a celebration where you'll get some personal attention and really good food/drink for a reasonable cost. Thank you Mamazul!

Mamazul was an excellent experience. A very nice New Years Eve dinner. The food was very tasty yet chic. The drinks were awesome and the desserts divine! We will be back.

The MUSIC was way too loud throughout the meal. A high energy vibe is fun, but yelling to each other as the only way to communicate is tedious and very annoying. Then, to make matters worse, the female manager turned up the volume for what was clearly her friend's Bday party. They were having fun, cool sparkler presentation, even dancing way up on the stairway to nowhere/santa/ceiling in the back, but the music volume did not go back down. At that point, with dessert menus in hand, we decided to go to ANITA GELATO for desert. We were not spending any more money at a venue that required us to scream during our Friend's Holiday Dinner gathering. Too bad, because we were discussing how we all loved the food, but would not return over the ridiculous volume of the music....when fun, is no longer fun.

Really suitable for young. Food lovely but music set at nightclub volume. Not for those who want a relaxing easy night but definitely for the young to enjoy .

Overall this resto was good! A little too loud for me but I’m sure they can fix that down the road. Great margaritas. The food was very good altho a limited menu. What Mexican resto doesn’t have enchiladas??!! Our server was excellent and very personable. We’ll go back and try it again.
