Service is very mediocre. As much as the food cost, I need the service to be much better and not as if I’m a bother to them for basic questions.

It was such a vibe from the music to the dancing waitors. I loved it & will be coming back again. All the staff we interacted with were very nice & extermely helpful if we had any questions

I went on Mother’s Day with family , both lady’s in front had a attitude especially the black girl with braids other then that food was really good , waiter came to us fast along with food , kinda loud but overall happy with the experience ambence was very nice

The food was so good and the service was amazing! The waiters are very attentive and they make sure everyone is well taken care of. The ambiance is so good and fun. You enjoy the atmosphere of the place while eating great food!

The music was distractingly loud. I get that many people like that but I was wishing I could hear the person next to me. The food was pretty - not great tasting and a bit overpriced for what it was. They brought out pork skin and put meat in the guacamole (im vegetarian) and the menu really didn’t specify which foods were vegetarian. Another in my party was Vegan. So if you have food preferences or want to hear your friends talk this is not the place. Lots of people seemed to be having A great time there however. So clearly good for some. Just not for me.

Took 20 minutes for a server to get to you table and it wasn’t busy. Food was not hot enough.

The service was subpar and that’s being kind. Upon arrival it took at least five minutes to be acknowledged by two gentlemen at the front who were carrying on in a conversation and looked at us and continue their conversation before asking us Do we have a reservation? Once we sat down, we were not told that the drink menu was on the QR code and no water was presented to us at the table. It took almost 12 minutes as several staff walked past our table before, Ricardo P, who I assumed was the manager came up to us and asked if we had been served. We told him no, and he took our orders and we waited for our food. Mind you it was only eight patrons in the restaurant at this time. It was not crowded at all. Once we got our food and gathered to pay Ricardo hovered over us while we paid to make sure he was going to get a tip. My friend and I did provide him with a tip because he would not give us any privacy while paying on their handheld pay system.

FOOD/DRINKS WAS DELICIOUS, WENT ON A SUNDAY SO THE FOOD CAME QUICKLY. IS ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE BUT WORTH IT. VERY UP TEMPO AND LOUD MUSIC SO NOT THE PLACE OR YOU IF OU DON'T LIKE NOISY ATMOSPHERE. IT WAS MY B DAY THEY CAME OUT SINGING WITH LIGHTS AND SIGNS BUT CHARGED FOR $1.00 SHOT BUT NO BIGGIE TOTALLY WORTH IT FOR THE SHOW THAT CAME ALONG WOTH IT. A MUST GO TO CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY!!

I recently visited this location for the first time and had an overall good experience. I made a reservation ahead of time and upon arrival, our server, Daisy, introduced herself and offered us water. However, we were later surprised to find out that the water was not complimentary and we were charged $6 per bottle. It would have been helpful if our server had informed us about the charge beforehand. Despite this, the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing, and the music was good. Although the food was not exceptional, it was still enjoyable. We started off with a Guacamole and Esquite; even though the Guacamole came with "chicharrones," I felt like I still needed some chips with my Guacamole. Our server was very skilled in selling and offered us the most expensive cocktails, but we appreciated the convenience of the mobile bar. We were celebrating a birthday and our server offered a dessert for the occasion, but unfortunately, it was the wrong dessert. We ordered Tres Leches but received Cheesecake instead. The restaurant advertised "Fire Dancers" from 5 PM to 10:45 PM, but our server informed us that the timing was not set as the fire dancers were a third party. So, if you are going to the restaurant to see the fire dancers, it's best to check with the server to avoid disappointment. The manager stopped by to say hi, which added a personal touch to our experience. Although the restaurant is expensive, the overall experience was great, and I would recommend it to others.

I had a reservation set for 8:30pm. I arrived at 8:20 and asked if my party could be seated. The host told us to wait until 8:30 to be seated so we waited. We did not get seated at 8:30 instead we waited for about 30 minutes. Whats the point of having a reservation if it’s not going to be acknowledged. To add to our frustration, upon finally being seated, I was served raw chicken. DISGUSTING. I asked the waiter if I could get something else from the menu because I did not want to eat chicken anymore. She said no, instead they offered to remake it even when I said I didn’t want to eat that anymore. We told the waiter we were not paying for the chicken dish and she told us we had to speak to the manager. We asked to speak to the manger but he was too afraid to even confront us. Instead he sent the waitress to tell us he couldn’t remove a 27$ dish. We waited for him come out and speak to us. Once he came out he didn’t apologize and tried saying because they remade the chicken we had to pay for it. HORRIBLE experience. The service sucks save your money and go somewhere else instead.

Got to the restaurant and we were the only ones there. The music was DEAFENING. And the pink disco lights just silly. Is it a bar? Is it a disco? Is it a restaurant? …on Sunday at 5pm? DON’T let them bring you bottled water! Little tiny plastic bottles are 6 bucks a pop. And the food… well, seriously underwhelming. I ordered enchiladas con mole. The mole was actually very good BUT the tortillas were cold and stale AND the chicken was dry and barely warm. No mas gracias.

You definitely pay for the experience. But it’s money well spent and the food is great! My friend said her lobster was fresh! They have vegan options the cauliflower bites were soooo good!

It’s a party! Great spot for birthdays with drinks made table side and fun creative delivery of bottles and shots! Lots of fun music and delicious food!

El lugar es muy bonito , se siente un ambiente agradable . Pero el servicio del mesero estuvo muy lento con las entradas se demoraba para traer hasta el agua y las entradas ya se colocaban frías. Luego ya le dijimos a la asistente del mesero y ella ayudó a mejorar el servicio. De igual manera si recomiendo el lugar la comida deliciosa , la música estuvo buena y celebración súper chévere a los cumpleañeros !!

Monday night. Only 4 or so tables! So not busy! Melvin is the hostess with theeeeee mostest! I cannot stress how lovely of an experience we had thanks to Melvin’s passion for an elevated fine dining experience! Music was moderate compared to BH Location, so it was perfect & still able to hold conversation! The wild caught butterfly shrimp paired with the ribeye was the best flavor palette hands down!!! Margaritas are 2 for 1 on Mondays! Pineapple, hibiscus, mango were so good I almost forgot there was tequila! ☺️🥳 The aesthetic & ambiance of this DTLA location is unmatched!!!! Melvin deserves the world, you can’t dine without him! <3

Our service for my birthday dinner was terrible. It felt like my girlfriend and I were treated different from the time we sat down. We weren’t greeted by our waitress. She wouldn’t make eye contact with us, she kept looking to the far corner of the room. When asking questions we were given very dry answers. When asked how the birthday festivities work we were told it’d be way too expensive.

The restaurant was way too loud for dinner conversation. Instead of a Sunday evening dinner, it was more like Friday night at a Hollywood club. The food was fine - average, but for $200 for 2 people I would have expected way better. We were charged $12 for two small plastic bottles of water that we did not ask for. Ordered 1 appetizer to share and 2 main dishes. 1 main dish came out first, then 5 minutes later the appetizer, then 5 minutes after that the second main dish. Lastly, asked the waitress for a receipt when we paid, but we never received it. The table side margaritas were nice, but other than that, I was not happy with the overall experience.

This was by far the worse reservation and experience I have ever had. We had reservations for 715pm arrived at 7 checked in. We were walked outside on the patio where it was raining and we refused to dine outside. They sat us at the bar and told us it would be 30 mins for our table for 4. We waited almost 2 hours to be seated. We had to flag down a waiter to try to place an order and were told they were behind and they had two tables ahead of us before we could even place a drink order. 40 mins after we were seated someone came and took our complete order. Food came within 30 mins, and was cold. One of the 6 dishes were ordered was warm. They told us they don’t give out any free water but had to purchase bottled water. Each meal was missing something, like tortillas, or silverware for dining. When the bill came, the waiter miscalculated our total and charged us three different times. After the third transaction which then prompted fraud at our banks, we paid cash. After paying cash the waitress returned missing more than 12 dollars of our money which then prompted us to just get up and leave. I’ve been to other mama por dios locations and have never received this type of service. The manager was apologetic but also was obviously very stressed and understaffed. This location was the worst dining experience we have ever had. Not only was the restaurant not very up to par but the bathrooms were disgusting and filthy, no air dryers worked, no hand paper towels and there was mud all over the floors from the rain outside. Not to mention parking. No validation and valet was $25. Being this was a business meeting, it was an embarrassment to the city to experience such horrible service. We were very disappointed and will never be returning. I felt it was necessary to leave a review because of the amount of money that was spent and the amount of time and effort that was wasted to experience such a bad evening at this location. Decent food, but hardly a dining atmosphere on a Tuesday evening. Club-level loud music at 7:30. Wait staff was good, but overwhelmed to the point we didn't see them for more than 30 minutes while "doing birthdays."

Made reservations for what Open Table gave me availability for (options were 9pm, 9:15pm, 9:30pm) I picked 9:15pm. I arrived to my wedding anniversary dinner reservations the host tells me there must have been an error, but they wouldn’t take reservations for that time. He said he recommended I went somewhere else to eat. I said well it’s late now and I don’t have many options so I would place the order quick for my food. He gave me a menu didn’t sit me so I had to ask you please be seated to a table. He said I had 10 minutes to order everything I wanted. Then 10 minutes passed and we still hadn’t met our server. I had to get up and find the host again who said server will be with us shortly. After that, we ordered and food was brought quickly, service was good and dinner was delicious. We just had a very rushed anniversary dinner and wish they would’ve treated us better being that it wasn’t my fault the system had an error.
