Delicious meal and very good service from Jamie. Prices are high, but overall felt it was worth the expense for a fine dining experience on our vacation.

From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. Enrique was our server and he took excellent care of us. The food was perfectly prepared. Great experience.

Food was incredible. We sat outside overlooking the pool/ocean. Amazing service, and we loved the restaurant’s music playlist! Highly recommend.

All the food was simply amazing the customer service was outstanding. The Waldorf Astoria Restaurants as a whole are amongst the the best in Mexico. The chefs smoked the surf and turf here along with the octopus. It was a highlight of our trip .

We came in with zero expectations, but left with one of the best meals we have ever had. From start to finish the service was impeccable. They even handled a maintenance issue that they had no control of really well. The food flavors were so well balanced and delicious. Portion size was appropriate, and plenty of variety in the menu even though they strongly favor the sea. The wine list wasn’t extensive but offered plenty of quality. If you are staying at the Waldorf or Hilton it’s a no brainer. It’s even worth the drive from outside the resort.

Food was great, service was even better. Juan did an amazing job taking us through the menu and explaining in detail. The catch of the day and the baja oysters are a must, fabulous!

Great experience next to the ocean. It being part of a seafront resort means obviously some kids with their toys here and there. But it was still a romantic experience. Food specialties are fish and seafood roasted on an open flame. For Sea Bass this works great. For lobster it does change the texture quite a bit. Much drier and flakier, then the boiled version. The service was formal and attentive.

Really excellent food and service. Highly attentive staff made it our meal so fluid and progress smoothly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing seafood dishes freshly prepared and a nice quiet ambient atmosphere to enjoy.

The entire vibe, environment and culinary experience was exceptional! Our waiter Juan really took care of us and was very knowledgeable. Every dish was better than the one before and would highly recommend!!

La decoración muy bonita ,muy relajante,sin ruidos o música que impida relaciòn y comunicaciòn en la cena. Estupendo servicio y excelente comida,todo super fres o y con una de oraciòn diferente y bien trabajada en la presentaciòn de los platos.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and both the service and the food was outstanding. I cannot say enough about the restaurant if you are at Waldorf Astoria Cancun this is a must try.

I ate here twice and had a great experience both evenings. Victor, my server, was both helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding me towards dishes I’d like and away from those I wouldn’t. The crudo, tiradito, seafood soup, and mango panna cotta all winners in my book.

Somos de Cancún y esperábamos bastante más del restaurante, la ambientación se pierde bastante ya que hay que comer en la terraza debido al olor a humo en su interior que es muy fuerte. La atención del personal fue muy buena, eso si debo decirlo, porque fueron muy atentos con nosotros. Como restaurante especializado en pescados y mariscos a las brasas no nos pareció que estuviera a la altura.

The restaurant has wonderful outdoor seating. The food and service were average. Out meal was marred by a very loud table seated not far from us. Although the manager was apologetic, the problem remained throughout our meal. Given the high prices, I would have expected some compensation.

Malpeque was absolutely incredible— one of the best meals my fiancé and I have had in a long time. While the flavor was delicious, the presentation of the food was top tier. Mauricio was our waiter and he employed such care to ensure we had the most magical evening. 10/10 would definitely recommend eating here!! Also, the cocktails are incredibly delicious as well. Will definitely be back!!

Quite simply, Malpeque prepared the best fresh seafood meal that I’ve ever had. We ordered the catch of the day for two and the grilled octopus - both were absolutely cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful. The ambiance is nice, yet casual, and the staff was appropriately attentive.

Some of the best seafood I have tasted! All the flavors they combine really come together. I cannot explain how phenomenal everything was. This is a place you MUST experience at the Waldorf. Cheers to wait staff, chef and the cooks.
