Malone’s is new to the neighborhood and I’ve been wanting to try it, despite the mixed reviews. It was just ok. I wanted the lobster cocktail appetizer but they we out of it. The shrimp cocktail, as well. The manager, who was overseeing our newly hired waiter explained that their seafood delivery was coming the next day. Oh well. I ordered the the short rib egg roll, which was very good. My husband asked about the soup of the day - there wasn’t one! So, he ordered the lobster bisque. He liked it but there were only traces of lobster - I guess because there was no lobster in the house! (Perhaps they should have a back-up plan for the day before the seafood delivery. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We shared a dinner - we opted for the slightly pricier dry-aged bone-in ribeye. While it was cooked to a perfect medium and very tasty, I don’t know what the fuss was about dry-aged. I didn’t taste a difference. But it was good. We ordered a baked potato and hot honey Brussels sprouts (which were delicious). We ordered chocolate ice cream for dessert and we were brought chocolate cake 🤦🏻‍♀️. It was my birthday dinner so we made the best of it. But I don’t think we’ll return anytime soon.

To be fair, it was a holiday- but we weren’t seated until an hour after our reservation time, they ran out of half the appetizers, had to ask for things several times, and the $150 tomahawk was small. Food was good though, I’d go back on a non holiday to try it again.

Food was very bland lacked flavor, pasta was flavorless and mushy, steak was bland and charred service was horrible couldn’t get get water or bread for the table took almost 3 hours to complete meal

Exceptional service and food. All dishes were prepared and served to perfection. Hearty portions. The bacon and pork belly, and octopus were recommended starters. Cocktail was excellent. Nothing to complain about on a Sunday with Mom. A good time was had by al.

Great food, will be back. Filet was cooked perfectly & the mini rice balls & short rib egg roll were perfect apps. Also recommend the asparagus which is fried in breadcrumb and tasted awesome. Also recommend the warm apple pie and the chocolate cake that really put this meal over the top.
