During our Mother's Day brunch, I was very impressed with the overall organization, service, and product delivered during our visit. The prices were fully in line with the product and service provided. The food was absolutely on point and the service was wonderfully connected to our table.

Good food, good drinks, good conversation with the bartender who was our waiter. Liked the river view, menu was good and a nice happy hour

Dined with visitors from out of state--they loved the Walleye and Lobster Roll and the ambience. Shrimp and Grits was really unique and flavorful. Noise level was a little high for conversations down the table, but better when the crowd lightened up. Overall, we love this place and has not disappointed in several visits.

One of the reasons I enjoy returning to Mallards is because of the service, but that was lacking tonite. I asked for mayo twice, it was never brought. My shrimp was meant to have only salt and pepper, nothing spicy. My steak and shrimp were brought first with my side items coming so late behind that I nearly finished the protein. We were like a forgotten table. We waited for our bill, then we waited for our payment to be processed. Meanwhile, we can see people.lining up outside waiting for a table to open. I'm sure we'll return, but it's going to be a while before we do.

Really enjoyed sitting outside on a perfect evening to have lobster rolls and a great appetizer. Our waiter was very friendly, which was nice too. It was a great experience all around, which is why we enjoy coming there and why we're so glad to have you in Shakopee.

The best restaurant experience I’ve had in a while. Nice environment, good parking, and excellent food (lunch). Our server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back.

We had brunch at Mallards and everything was fantastic! The hostess was very helpful since one in our party was in a wheelchair. Our server was excellent and had such a great personality! All the staff was kind and helpful. It was a great meal and we will go back for sure!

Wonderful Easter dinner out! The only thing I'd suggest is to remove the signage & dishes for the items that are not being refilled on the Pastry Bar

This was our first visit to Mallards, and it won’t be our last based on this visit. We had reservations for 3 people at 5:30 and got seated right away. Our server was Sydney, and she was very good. She was there with waters and took our drink orders right away. She also had good recommendations for dinner. Two of had the shrimp and grits and the other had the jambalaya. The food came in a satisfactory amount of time, was hot, and very delicious. Sydney came back to check on us several times. We will definitely be back!

Waited for wine as it was not chilled. Server was nice but seemed distracted and didn’t write anything down. A little confused when food arrived. May try again as we all have a bad day.

We sat at the Bar which was perfect for the two of us. The bartender was fantastic and made great recommendations for food and sides. Great food, great service, and great experience!!!

Their Old Fashioned drink was perfect . The Asian sea bass (barramundi) was incredible, I would highly recommend that dish. The mushroom parpardelle with shrimp had noodles that were a bit gummy, it had some large inedible mushroom chunks, and the shrimp would have been better if seasoned. Most of the staff were incredibly attentive and worked seamlessly with one another. Also has an amazing view of the Minnesota River!

This was our first visit. Excellent food. Very nice hidden restaurant. Our food took a long time but no one else around us had that problem They were very accommodating because of the delay. We’ll go back.

Was really disappointed compared to our last dinner there. The serving of fish (fish and chips dinner) was significantly smaller that we’ve had in the past - the steak was well done (requested medium to well) and we returned our 7$ loaf of bread because it was burnt on one end. Very disappointing.

This is the best kept secret in Shakopee, MN. The variety of food items is amazing and well priced!! Our waiter (Matt) treated us like we were at a 5-star restaurant. He was knowledgably with the entire dinner menu and drink selections. This place has become an instant favorite!!

We had a reservation for 630 and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. They were very busy. I feel when you have a reservation you should have the table waiting for you. Hopefully they will better support the host stand employees, who were trying their best, in the future! The food and table service were excellent! Thank you!

The Valentine’s Day menu item Filet Oscar was the best steak dish my husband and I have ever had! He ordered that and I ordered the shrimp and grits, which is also really good. If the filet Oscar was on the regular, even just a weekend menu, we’d order it every time. The whole night was fantastic!

Table assignment was poor. My wife and I made up a party of 2. Two open tables for (2) by the window that would have created a more private setting, but they chose to sit us at a table for (4) that were between two families. Server attentiveness was poor. No split of drink, app, entree ordering - all rolled into one. Poor follow-up after food was delivered. My wife's meal was excellent, mine was fairly blah.

We loved our experience at this Mallard's location. It was quiet and clean and the service was lovely. The food was amazing, especially the Salmon New Orleans!

Mallards in Shakopee has great food, and lunches there are pleasant. This is the 3rd time we've gone there for dinner. It was so noisy, again, at dinner, that it was difficult to carry on a conversation. I made reservations and did request a table by the window,. We had to wait for only about 10 minutes for our table, but we're seated in a booth opposite side of the room from the window. The Host was apologetic that we had to wait for our seating, and did buy a drink for us. The waiter we had, we've had on previous visits. While he is pleasant, he spilled some hot water when handing my hit tea water to me. No big deal. However, he never offered to wipe it up, apologized and just walked away! Never came back to wipe it up! It took 3 times to ask for sugar. He doesn't write down orders, which is a hit and miss. This night our orders were correct, except for a dressing I didn't ask for, and my salad was delivered with the meals. This time, and previous time we had him, he seemed a bit absent minded. We will go back to Mallards, but not for dinner.

I ate at the Shakopee site with my son. I hade the Salmon. It was excellent. We also had the Daily Bread which was recommended by our waiter. It was really good. I will definitely want to go back sometime. It is a little noisy there. But food and service were great!
