I must have gone on a bad night because corners with presentation were clearly cut, service was neglectful, and the food was mediocre at best. I was excited to try the Peking duck, but received what was basically a soggy Costco rotisserie chicken. Don’t waste a special occasion dining at this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant with a fun vibe and seriously great food. Only negatives were the noise and the service. Our party was seated at a four-top and, despite being so close together, we still struggled to hear each other. Part of this was due to the natural acoustics of the restaurant, but part was definitely due to the loud music. For our party, the bigger issue was the service. It took our waiter quite some time to take our order, during which we ordered a few appetizers and a few entrees and asked him to course it out. Instead, everything arrived at the same time and we felt very rushed to eat our appetizers because (1) there wasn’t room on the table for both the appetizers and our entrees and (2) the entrees would get cold if we took our time eating the appetizers. The waiter didn’t check in on us for about 15 minutes after dropping off all of our food, but when he did we ordered white rice (as we were unaware the dishes wouldn’t come with rice and he hadn’t asked us if we wanted any rice when we originally ordered). The rice took another 10-15 minutes, so we were almost done by the time it was placed on the table. Shortly thereafter, the waiter returned with a menu, handed it to us, and asked us if we wanted any dessert (before clearing our dinner plates and while one member of the party was still eating). We asked for a little bit more time and it was another 15-20 minutes before we saw him again. The dessert we ordered was out of stock for the night, which wouldn’t have been an issue had he not taken 10 minutes after we ordered said dessert to communicate that fact. At this point, we asked for the check, and it took another 5 minutes for him to bring that over. Overall, we were left with the feeling of being at once rushed and not prioritized… both of which are not ideal at a fine or elevated dining spot. Again, all of the food was delicious… it was just the service that left something to be desired. I will definitely give it another shot though!

Very nice ambiance! Excellent Cervice and very good food!!! Highly recommend for romantic purposes. Definitely will be back to this restaurant!!

This was my second time dining at Maison Chinoise. The first time it was excellent so I looked forward to dining this second time for my birthday. The food was disappointingly off. Maybe because it was a Monday night? We ordered rock shrimp, pastrami egg-rolls, king prawn dumplings, wagyu beef pot stickers, lamb shoulder, braised short ribs, Singapore noodles and green beans. I think a couple of other items as well. The short ribs were chewy, the Singapore noodles were over cooked and not seasoned enough. King prawn dumplings were lacking. Lamb shoulder was good, green beans were excellent as well as the the wagyu pot stickers . The ambiance and the service made up for the food somewhat.

It was an absolutely perfect evening. It was my first time. We cannot wait to come back. Our waitress Chloe was personable and friendly. The front desk staff were very amenable to my request to sit outside. It was overall a wonderful experience. My only suggestion would be in the speakeasy lounge, there isn’t any regular seating? It seemed like it was all, paid seating. Would love to come back one night to watch music.

Impeccable food! Absolutely love Maison! They had new menu items during this visit. We were so grateful, the waiter was so helpful to suggest new items that were so delicious! Everything was amazing. The shrimp spring rolls will be on our list every visit! The new chicken dumplings were so incredible. Amazing dinner!

$10 for valet when the parking lot is empty is absurd. when you’re spending $100 minimum on a meal you should at the very least provide complimentary parking for your guests.

I have had the pleasure to eat at this establishment three times and every single time gets better and better! From the cocktails, to the creative menu, to the extensive and reasonably priced wine list … this is a five star experience all the way around. Unfortunately, my dinner guest had a bit of an emergency towards the end of our meal this time and we had to leave at a hurry. We had already closed our tab but the valet service was absolutely incredible dealing with our emergency situation and took very good care of us to the point where this truly has launched this restaurant into a category of places with unparalleled service literally from the valet all the way throughout the entire experience. I will continue to frequent this restaurant and I will tell everyone that I can as well. Thank you so much!

Best fine dining Chinese I’ve had in Dallas ! The menu is so large , and everything on it is fabulous ! Drinks are beautiful and amazing ! Service was top notch ! The ambiance was so pretty and enjoyable ! Will definitely be back !

Our first time to this restaurant and we were very DISAPPOINTED! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and I wanted to try a new place. The evening started with the unsmiling hostess trying to seat us in a wall facing corner. Then Our waiter recommended everything that was the most expensive on the menu so from there we were on our own to pick and choose. We were celebrating so cost wasn't a factor but seriously! The he soup dumplings were good. We ordered waiters recommended fried rice that had everything. The shrimp in the dish was not cooked through! He offered to bring us more shrimp but the first bite of raw shrimp made us unwilling to have any more. We weren't looking for a price adjustment and it wasn't offered anyway. The King Pao Chicken and green beans were so heavy with spice you could hardly taste them. I cannot see us going back and I would not recommend this place. Sad, as Dallas needs more variety.

Great appetizers. The main course whole fish was so so, somewhat fishy and greasy. They cut the fish into small pieces and fry them then put them on the fish head and tail. Also had a vegetable dish that was good. Expensive and small portions

The service was incredibly slow. It took 15min for someone to take our drink orders. During that time two servers came by our table with food we hadn’t ordered. Our second dinner entree didn’t arrive after am hour so it was comp’ed. All in all it was not tasty, slow service and overpriced. It was a fun vibe though as people were dressed to the nines.

Maison Chinoise is Dallas chic does Chinese. Dallas’s famed restaurateur Alberto Lombardi is the genius behind this take on “let’s get Chinese.” The restaurant is beautifully designed with a large outdoor patio. The starters are a treat. The Stuffed Eggplant is delicious! Everything on the menu is delicious as you would expect from a Lombardi family restaurant. Do you know about the “secret” passage to Regines in the hallway to the washroom? Regines is a great way to end a Maison Chinoise dining experience. Enjoy!!

Our first time dining at Maison Chinoise was a delight. Luis is extraordinary - his recommendations and service made the night and we will definitely be back. The food is incredible, you’ll have a hard time choosing as everything sounds delicious. Dumplings are a must try. The table decor and overall design of the restaurant add to the experience.

Our waiter was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. We had nice appetizers, mains and ordered some additional combination fried rice. Everything was very good but the rice dish arrived when we were pretty much finished with dinner. it was good as well though very late.

Took the wife here as part a new place to go for our date night. Did not disappoint. Our server was very friendly. He guided me since I was a little out of my element and answered my questions. Food was delicious and portions were perfect. We both left satisfied but not stuffed.

A fair experience overall that I wish was better than just that. The food was over priced for what it offered and focused more on presentation than taste. Service was also quite slow. Valet is paid and was $5. Nothing wrong with that, just a note to be aware of because it isn't mentioned elsewhere.

Great experience! This was my first time dining at MC. Cocktails were tasty and everything we ordered was really good. The only thing we were put off by was that the pepper steak didn’t come with rice or anything to soak up all the delicious sauce. The spicy green beans were actually spicy (which we loved). The crab legs were a bit small, but still pretty yummy. Our waiter Jacob was very nice and attentive even though it was busy. After dinner he offered us a visit to the speakeasy next door. The manager came and accompanied us there and found us a table right in front of the piano. Very cool vibe! I will definitely come back here!!

Fabulous experience!!! Alisa and the other women who greeted us are so lovely and very accommodating. Our server Will was witty, which we loved and appreciated, along with great suggestions on what to order and number of items to complete our perfect meal. The soup dumplings are my personal favorite! The Peking Duck was a huge hit for the table. Want to also shout out to the valets, who are always professional and speedy in taking and bringing the car around. Truly an all around awesome night!!!

Our out-of-town guests were impressed with the food, the decor and especially the service. We dined on a Friday night in the bar area, so the noise level got louder minute by minute. Ask for a quieter section if you plan to be conversing!

Absolutely phenomenal, shout out to Lindsey the assistant manager. She fixed another manager's ball that was dropped. Had to change suddenly because I was asked to leave Regine's Lounge (power tripping by the managers there) but Lindsey, I applaud you. You should be over Regine's if that's your goal because it are very professional. Unlike Airik and Sam from Regine's. They made me cry in my car. Very rude.

Peking duck was the best duck we’ve had ever hands-down. Seabass and lamb was wonderful, appetizers extremely tasty. They bring the food out as “it is ready“ and my family likes to “share“ so we can taste everything when it’s the first time we ever go to a restaurant. So much time passed that when the duck showed up we were about 98% full. It definitely was worth the wait but we were effectively done with our dinner by the time it came. It was so good. We still consumed almost all of it! Next time we’ll put in the order the minute we sit down. Great people watching, loved the fashion… Not overcrowded. Cool speakeasy in the back!

Very pretty place. Service excellent, including the valet parking. Interesting menu. Dumplings done artistically and taste was excellent. Both the beef dish and shrimp dish had a similar chili taste although the sauces were different - the chili overwhelmed the sauces. The noodle dish with yellow curry had an odd taste and not appealing. Very, very expensive.

We had a wonderful dinner for 6. We ordered lots of plates and shared, so we could taste lots of choices from the menu. The duck was a big hit. I personally could have made a whole meal of the wagyu potstickers.
