Main Street Bistro and Bakery combines French elegance with a casual dining experience in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Our dinner service boasts some of our favorite French dishes like Mussels and Duck Confit and American classics like Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Enhance your dining experience with a signature cocktail or a glass of Bordeaux. And don’t forget to try one of our famous desserts, handcrafted daily by our Executive French Pastry Chef!

We serve Weekend Brunch Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Brunch is available for walk-ins and waitlist only; no reservations for Weekend Brunch.

This was the first time I had been to this restaurant . I made a reservation for 4:30 at the restaurant, we were seated immediately when we walked in the door. Brittany our server was very attentive, helpful and assisting us in selecting food choices from the menu. I selected the mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce and my niece had a salad with grilled salmon. The food was excellent! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area that is visiting and also to my friends and family.

Food and atmosphere are wonderful. Service was lacking - asked 3x for a beer, side salads came out very late and 90 seconds later entrees were served. Server asked for details and apologized.

Great place with a very cool bar! Music was really cool, the food was delicious. Totally recommend for dinner and hanging with friends!

This is a great casual place for dinner with a varied menu. However they play music here very loudly, if they would turn down the volume you could chat more easily across the table!

Had a lovely evening and celebrated my son‘s 21st birthday. The staff was very kind and attentive. Our server went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and that my son‘s birthday dinner was a special one the food was great and the ambience was even better, the noise was a little loud, but the restaurant seem to be fully occupied. Overall, a lovely restaurant.

Food was not as good as usual. Service was good. Our friends had burgers and were really good! Salads were lacking favor In dressing, not tossed, kale was very bitter couldn’t eat. Usually all salads in past have been good.

Cute restaurant but food is very overpriced. I ordered the seafood special with crab and could not eat it. The crab had a very fishy almost spoiled taste. My husband ordered the ribeye and was not impressed with the quality of meat.

The energy in this place was great, live saxophone music, amazing atmosphere, very very prompt staff service. The food was a bit pricey, but in my opinion with the amount of flavour and the fact that everything was cooked to perfection it was worth it. 135$ for a three course meal.

Would have been 5 stars across but service was slow to start. Place was packed though. Loved the jazz sax and was great. Once ordered everything was prompt and ontime. You can't go wrong here but do make a reservation!

The service started off a bit slow. It was a busy night from Valentines and all so we understand. We would have loved some more information about the menu and personal recommendations from the waiter. Food was outstanding. Cute place and great ambiance. They had a live jazz performer while we were there.

My experience at Chez Fabien was truly delightful. The lobster grilled cheese and bisque had this wonderful dance of flavors that genuinely impressed me. The lamb burger was a standout, with a freshness that reminded me of lamb kefta - a delightful surprise. The short ribs, free of bones, were exceptionally tender, and the mashed potatoes with roasted veggies were executed with precision. The mussels in creamy sauce added a touch of luxury to the seafood selection, and the accompaniment of a skilled smooth jazz artist created a sophisticated yet warm ambiance. Chez Fabien's inviting atmosphere made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend every dish for a refined yet personal gastronomic adventure.

The food is always good Chez Fabian. I felt like the place was very loud because there were several party groups there. Our waiter seemed distracted. However, we will come back.

Was a nice date night the food the recommendation of one of the specials was outstanding for the Seabass, Oscar, and then the dessert selections were excellent, very friendly service, and it was nice outside where we ate

My daughters and I had an early dinner and enjoyed beautiful food, timely service and the perfect ambiance for a little girl talk and laughter. The arugula salad and flatbread were especially tasty while the Caesar salad was ok.

It’s mostly always good and enjoyable….this time I ordered my usual burger patti and they served it to me in a saucer that was the same size as the patti…..what’s that about ?

We went to dinner on a Saturday night and had reservations. We arrived early (which may have been the issue) & we were given a super small table. It made it very crowded for all of the glasses and the plates. Our waiter was very attentive and our food was great. A table busser did stop and scold us because she apparently didn’t like that my purse was hanging on the back of my chair (not sure where else I was supposed to put it). All in all, I would recommend it to others but if you don’t like crowded and loud places- maybe reconsider.

I’ve been there for lunch and it was decent enough so when out friends asked where we wanted to go we suggested Chez Fabien. We made reservations in advance and the only table available even though we had a reservation was at the very back of the place in between four other tables and both the table and the space was very small. The meal for four barely fit the table and that was extremely frustrating trying to fit the wine glasses, water glasses and four plates onto that tiny table. The place was incredibly loud. The waitress was nice but the food was not fit for eating, both my husband and I left our plates almost entirely. Mine at least was left uneaten. The price for what we got was ridiculous. Will not be eating there again.

Alex, our server was delightful. He was very attentive and had a few great stories for us and seemed well versed in the wine. The restaurant is convenient to other bars and shops in downtown Grapevine. The food was just ok. It was all nicely plated and came out in a timely fashion however it wasn't exceptional, or even great. Considering the price per entree, I think you get what you pay for.

As usual, this place is so perfect through the years. The only issue I had was sitting on booth next to the bar and having bar customers putting in their drinks right on top of the divider above our heads was very uncomfortable.
