Le Maiella, restaurant élégant et décontracté situé sur le pittoresque front de mer de Long Island, sert des spécialités italiennes traditionnelles revisitées, préparées avec les ingrédients les plus frais. Offrant une vue imprenable sur la ville, le Maiella se situe au pied de l'emblématique enseigne Pepsi, dans le parc d'État Gantry. Repensé par Bluarch, important cabinet d'architectes à New York, le restaurant est décoré dans un style rustique, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 180 personnes à l'intérieur et environ 100 personnes sur sa terrasse extérieure.                                                     Ambiance is great, it’s nice for a date. Food was nothing special, had meatball and eggplant for app, very hard. Meatball portion was small, was wondering where the rest of it was. Steak was okay, came with an arugula salad tho. The best dish was the cacio Pepe pasta they blend with cheese by the table.

                                                    This Is Our 2Nd Time Back To The Restaurant. The 1St Time We Went During The Week All Went Well. Better Than Outstanding. We Went Back To The Restaurant With A Party Of 7. What Was different 1 Found Was The Chef Was New And The Bread That The Server Put On The Table Was Fine BUT A Second Round They Wanted To Charge Which Was Petty. I Called The manager Luigi Who Explain The Chef And policy Change From May 2,2024 And The May 19, 2024 . He Completely Understand And Didn't Charge The 2nd Round Of Bread For The Table. To be frank The serving of bread Was not Enough For 7 People. In Edition The Manager Sent A Pizza Over To The table At No Charge Which I Thought Was " Good Business " THANK YOU Luigi FOR BEING A GOOD MANAGER AND UNDERSTANDING THE CUSTOMER CONCERNS. If We Make Another Reservation It Will Be During The Week And Not On The Weekend. Thanks Again Dennis Long Beach..

                                                    Small portions for the prices. Didn’t like that we had to wait for our the last person to arrive before being seated. Seating was for party of 5 and 4 of us arrived together, my brother was coming from upstate. We waited 30 min before being seated. He doesn’t even eat appetizers …

                                                    Good food but terrible service. All 3 items I ordered were completely incorrect. The waitress missheard my entree, despite me pointing to it, and i had to awkwardly eat alone after my friends had finished their food. My second glass of wine was not even CLOSE to the correct wine I ordered but I was still charged the extra $5 for it. I didn’t bother even complaining about this after the entree ordeal. Even the dessert was the wrong dessert and the waitress gave me a death glare when my friends said it was wrong. After all of this, you would expect a sincere apology or maybe one of the drinks or dessert taken off, but nothing. Immensely poor service for a spot that wants to be fancy.

                                                    Eduardo and the team at Maiella are great! Our group of 7 came here for the first time for my mother's birthday. We were greeted warmly, and every need was attended to courteous care. Also, the ambiance is absolutely wonderful. I'll have to come back during the day to sit in the backyard patio. Overall, a wonderful evening.

                                                    All I Can Say Is Outstanding. The Occasion Was my Wifes birthday. I First set An Appointment On May 2Nd 2024 Party Of 6. Gazelle At The Restaurant Who Took The reservation Was outstanding And made this special occasion Great For My family. The Food Was Superb. The Staff Was Exceptional.
