Are you getting speakeasy vibes?! Our historic site (formerly the Lester hotel, 1901) is the perfect setting for your next dining experience or night out. A registered haunted site, Madam Bonnies pays homage to Gatsby era design, adored with velvet booths, swinging crystal chandeliers two bars and the longest continuous bar in Gaslamp.
Our new American menu features seasonal dishes, from small plates to sharable items and rotisserie roasted chicken and prime rib!
The beverage program is second to none! Showcasing craft cocktails, 15 local beers on tap, expansive wine list, and a large bourbon, whiskey, scotch selection. Live jazz Thursday through Saturday and Sunday brunch!

Madam Bonnies is hosting a unique Father's Day experience! Featuring local star Bill Caballero performing Latin Jazz from 12am-2pm. We will be offering a lunch buffet for $38 per guest starting at 11:30am. Menu includes: Summer Salad, Meat & Cheeses, Herb Pesto Pasta, Roasted Truffle Salmon, Braised Short Rib, Roasted Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Fruit Display, Dessert Station. Additionally, our bar will be offering a specialty drink menu to pair with great music and food!

Lack of or inflexability of Vegan choices. Live music should be done acoustically if in a place dominated by hardscape. Convo at the table was at shouting levels. Band played every jazz standard, including ballads, at 200 BPM. It had the pulse of any of the dance clubs around it. Or server went beyond the call of duty Not his fault. Management needs to rethink direction of restaurant. Is it a club or a dining experience.

It sounds like you were seated in our bar and lounge, which is intended for guests who want to to enjoy our free live music. Perhaps you should have requested our main dining room/ front patio where the music is not as loud.

Very disappointed. The service was excellent but restaurant had an odor that was not pleasant. Food was served lukewarm, and they were out of sparkling water and beer. Not a great showing.

Hi Anthony I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience. We had a very busy weekend hence running out of sparkling water. As for the beer, we were experiencing issues with our Glycol system which ensures that beer is cold. Rather than serving beer that was not as cold as it should be, we chose to wait until we could get a tech to look at it. We hope that you give us another chance next time you are in town

Outstanding! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and there was live music in the bar. The porchetta with mashed potatoes was excellent, and Josue was a fantastic server. The value for money was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful ambience. Service was friendly, but very slow. Food was average, at best. Will not return. Do not recommend.

The service here was exceptional, they went above and beyond. The drinks were good. I was slightly disappointed in my salad which was mostly corn, but otherwise we had a great time.

The rotisserie at Madam Bonnie’s is outstanding! On this visit we had the pork loin, and it was tender and flavorful. We previously had the prime rib, and it was excellent as well. The service was fast and friendly, with Arturo was very helpful and attentive. We highly recommend Madam Bonnie’s, and we will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Our favorite was the service provided by Josue, very attentive and nice to all his tables. We have gone back and will continue to come back.

We stumbled across this restaurant as we were walking through the gaslight quarter. The food (salmon and rotisserie chicken) and service were top-notch, and they had a great jazz trio in the bar. We will definitely return.
