Our server Jan was very pleasant and welcoming. The only reasons I can’t give a higher rating was due to the king crab pasta being dry with not enough sauce, and the chicken Parm being thin and overcooked. We arrived at 5:00pm, so it wasn’t busy. Jan made sure to quickly prepare another king crab pasta which came out perfect, but my wife decided to keep her chicken Parm. The flavors were enjoyable, so my rating mostly reflects the issues mentioned. Our prior experience was fine, so we do plan to return.

What a let down… I bragged about my first experience at this place to so many people but now I feel ashamed. The In-laws are in town and they wanted a great dinner. We went from high to low quick smart. Our first visit I left dreaming of that scampi, those great flavors and a decent serving of shrimp with a luscious pasta and sauce. Our second visit now involved all of us playing a game of Marco Polo with the shrimp, a cold mediocre steak (that was $60!), and our food all came out at odd times leaving parts of the “family meal” cold. The flavor of that once memorable scampi was now nothing but garlic and shame with an overcooked crustacean on top served with undercooked “mal dente” pasta. The service, although, was very friendly and the manager did what she could to keep us happy so we appreciate the efforts. Not sure what happened from that first visit to second but dear god I hope it finds its way back home. We left whelmed. Bad Bene.

Food was excellent. Ceasar salad perfectly dressed, beautiful rib-eye, pappadelle with ragu was delicious.

Everything was fantastic! Service, food & drinks. Kona Kampachi is hands down my favorite thing to get every time I go.

Thought it was a bit pricey and we had a big group so I was disappointed that our food came out piece meal. Some people were done eating while others didn’t even get their food yet.

First time to dine at Mad Bene Kapolei. Kendall was amazing, she was very attentive. Food tasted very good. We got the Ribeye family pack with the pizza and pasta for the ohana. The portions are smaller than we are used to but it's just right, filling. Will definitely be back. Mahalo!

We had a wonderful waiter who explained the specials and also gave excellent service in timing the food delivery. The food was wonderful with some unique dishes and some known comfort dishes. I would not hesitate to dine here again.
