Mac’s Raw Bar celebrates the bounty of the seas with a lively raw bar where seafood is the star of the show. Just north of landlocked Atlanta, Mac’s pays careful attention to local ingredients and specializes in sustainability. Our Chefs are dedicated to highlighting the oysterman, the fisherman, the Georgia farmers + brew masters, and world-renowned winemakers.

The food was delicious. Mussels with fennel and tomatoes best I have ever had, whole family enjoyed. Crabcakes are the best I have had in GA, we are Maryland people. Buccatini with scallops was also a delicious dish. To our family upscale food and in very comfortable fun atomosphere. We will definetly return. Service was fantastic, very helpful and knowlegeable about menu, gave us plenty of time to make decisions. Food served quickly, hot and delicious. Our server was amazing, heard us talking about dessert for father's day, and husband was like no we had dessert at home. She brought us a complimentary key lime pie! Made the experience special and enjoyable. Great Job Mac's seafood Market!

Our hot crab and cheese dip and buttered old bay seasoned app was excellent. My wife enjoyed her fish tacos and gumbo. My broiled seafood platter was less than overwhelming: the scallops were very good, prepared exactly correct and not overcooked. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The lobster tail and shrimp were likewise overcooked. The flavor profiles however were very nice. The crumb cake dessert was very good. A suggestion, when dropping off flatware for soup or dessert, place a bev nap on the table first, and not directly on the table. Ian was a proficient server. Overall, 3.5 out of 5 stars, good but not a great experience.

Took my mom and family to celebrate her 80th b-day! Staff was very gracious, and she enjoyed it!

Mac’s is very enjoyable for a casual seafood night. Pleasant, unobtrusive staff. Fine surroundings. May want an outside table when weather appropriate as inside is horribly noisy. Very hard to converse. Always has a good oyster selection.

Loved loved our server. Made so many great recommendations. Neighborhood gem for sure. Get the salmon appetizer it is delicious!!

Seated for our 6pm reservation. Greater by our server & her mentioned a back up/assist server. Didn’t take our food order until 6:36pm. Only because hostess saw us looking around & trying to wave down our server. We wanted an appetizer then our entrees. Entrees came out 1st then we had to ask about our appetizer. Back up server never spoke to us or checked in just filled water. She had her own tables. Normally wouldn’t be an issue but had an 8pm show at the Strand that we mentioned. We barely made it. Food was delicious, as usual. He did kindly bring a complimentary beer after serving the ordered one short due to keg running out. Mac’s is my favorite on the square. Hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner there and will continue to be a patron. However, it was my friend’s first visit to a place a rave about.

Food and drinks were fantastic! Service was excellent! We were celebrating our anniversary and the hostess and server congratulated us and there was a note left at our table as well. It truly felt like a special occasion!
