In the heart of Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse is a modern-vintage revival of the classic American steakhouse. From start to finish our servers were phenomenal. Top tier dining and dare I say the best steakhouse in Atlanta, both inside and outside the perimeter. The food was amazing - we had an array of oysters, steaks, sides everything. 20/10 would absolutely recommend

BEWARE: Mac’s Chophouse will pass along the credit card swipe fee to the customer in the form of a “Non Cash Adjustment” in addition to the already steep cost to mediocre food. My wife, son and I dined here after seeing it several times when visiting the Marietta Square. It’s got a great location and a nice ambiance inside. The food and service was mediocre. We did enjoy our oysters from the raw bar even though the runner couldn’t tell us where the oysters were from after asking for a dozen the chef would recommend. Our waiter finally helped. My wife and I shared a steak that was just fine. The server’s assistants would just pour water directly over your shoulder without even announcing their presence or saying excuse me. Most of the time this was done with no verbal exchange at all, just mechanical and robotic, lacking any charm or people skills. The big surprise was seeing them add an additional charge for not using cash with no clear visible mention that this is their policy on the menu that I could see. Will not be returning.

Excellent food and service… we were seated by a large party who were quite loud, so, the noise was a little much.

We had a reservation for 7:00 PM but weren’t seated until 7:30 PM. Even then we had to ask if we were going to be seated. I specifically made a note in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration but only at the very end of the evening was it acknowledged. The wait staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of guests so I didn’t blame them. This was a clear mismanagement situation. We were very disappointed.

Hostess sat us at a great table that we had celebrated at for a prior graduation and surprised our graduate with a special dessert. Great experience!

We celebrated my birthday this evening and it was phenomenal. David was remarkable and had great recommendations. Highly recommend Mac’s. We will be back again soon.

All food needed more flavor. Steaks & Sides needed more seasoning, fried lobster was fried so hard unable to taste lobster. Downstairs did not offer to transfer drink ticket upstairs or move them upstairs when seated was ready. I would not return. Server & downstairs bartender were very good, decor very nice & steaks cooked to ordered temperature. Food mediocre.
