Lyla brings Italian coastal cuisine to the heart of Dallas, Texas. We offer fresh handmade pastas & pizzas, fresh salads and steak & seafood from our wood-fired grill. The venue is elegant, yet casual and we welcome you to enjoy our dining room, lounge or expansive patio. Lyla is now open for brunch Saturday and Sunday 11am-2:30pm.

I’m a returning customer and they were just not good this visit. We were very unattended to, while all the other tables around had multiple staff members checking in. We barely spoke to our server 3 times. Once when ordering, once when food came, and once when she just brought the bill out. Lyla’s the kind of place that has a standard and they definitely failed to meet those today.

I was very pleased with everything! The greeting from the hostess to the server giving many suggestions (which were great) to the atmosphere. Amazing place and I will definitely be going again and referring others!

The customer service here is consistently bad. The hostess was very rude. It’s disappointing considering the food is great.

Though the ambience was lovely, this place was a huge disappointment. The only reason it even gets a 2 instead of a zero for service is because of the bar tender who was the ONLY highlight of my night. He was kind and made exceptional drinks for my friend and I. Now, the rest of the experience was truly one of the worst we’ve ever experienced (of a very short list of two, including this one). Firstly, we were presented with seats right next to the only other black people in the restaurant while a plethora of tables were empty. We were told those tables were closed off, until a bad review was mentioned then an “exception” was made. It took 30 minutes for a server to even come introduce himself and tend to us. The appetizer, lamb meatballs, were awfully salty so we sent it back after we both only took a single bite to not even be offered an exchange. Our mains were subpar, with my filet Mignon tasting slightly off. We still decided to give them one last shot and ordered dessert to share. The olive oil cake was extremely cold and tasted like a boxed cake. The server seemed quite unhappy when we decided to not tip based on our all round experience. I would probably return for happy hour by the bar, but never to dine. I read somewhere about it being an influencer hotspot, only good for esthetics… sadly, I agree.

Food portions were extremely small, don't be fooled by the pictures online. Don't waste your money, plenty of other better options in the area.

It was a horrible experience. The food was not good for the price, got the lamb chops, and got 3 tiny chops for almost $60.

Loved the environment and how beautiful of it is, but food was very mediocre for the price and probably not somewhere we’d go back to anytime soon. But absolutely beautiful and worth a visit

I will definitely come back, the ambiance is great and the pasta was delicious the only thing that wasn’t great was the dessert we order the Hazelnut chocolate cake but other than that I loved it.

It was a wonderful experience!!! Enjoyed every moment! Was pricey for what the food came to be but the experience with the people shared very much overruled it all! Definitely would recommend here!!!

We felt as though we were being watched and judged for our entire experience. We made reservations for a birthday and luckily our waitress was nice but the minute we tried to take a birthday photo with a light we were reprimanded. There weren't other people sitting around us, in fact we tried to take the photo early in the evening so that we did not disturb the ambiance or other peoples’ dinners, and there was no stated rule. We felt extremely targeted. After that, there were multiple times the manager would watch our table yet we weren’t causing any issues and didn’t take any photos at all. I would also say to request where you want to sit. It would have been nice to be outside on the pretty patio or in a booth but all we received was a high table with our reservation. Also, we were immediately told the table was booked after our reservation and felt extremely rushed during our time. I would not be likely to recommend our experience to others, and I wouldn't recommend someone to visit for their birthday.

Ambience was amazing.. good was subpar I had the salmon and it was bland and quinoa wasn’t cooked to my liking. The whipped egg plant was amazing however and the drinks were definitely a 10/10. I would go back for drinks and appetizer’s only if I do plan on returning!

The Whipped Eggplant was amazing! It needed a little seasoning but we hooked it up and we will be back!

Ambiance, food, and service were excellent! We sat in the bar area, and Whitney took great care of us. The pizza, as well as the whole branzino dish were both delicious dinner options.

Brussel spouts very, very good. Food was good. Wait staff very attentive. Beautiful surroundings! Valet parking complementary, which was a plus. Restaurant was very loud and difficult to hear others at the table.

The steak was some of the worst in dallas. Food overall quality was really low for the price. Won’t be going back.

Not a great experience. The food was cold, overpriced, and portion sizes were very small for what we paid. Not happy!

Food was fantastic. We had the Burrata, which our server recommended we have with a caviar- a muy have. Truffle fries, Whitehall were cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. Whipped eggplant, melts in your mouth. Devine. The pepperoni truffle pizza (added shaved truffles on top)-exquisite. Steak and eggs, a brunch classic. And to finish something sweet- French toast and Affogato (house made pistachio gelato topped with shaved almonds) absolute perfection. Our sever Steven coursed all of our food, was very knowledgeable, friendly, gave great recommendations, and was very attentive. We watched him take care of three other tables, one of two of which were large groups without missing a beat. Manager Will came by a couple to times to check up on us as well and was also very friendly.
