Le LuxBar est inspiré par l'œuvre d'Adolf Loos, dont « l'American Bar » a été conçu et construit au début du XXe siècle à Vienne. Le bar a capturé une élégance dans la simplicité ; un style qui a influencé grandement le travail de Frank Lloyd Wright et d'autres architectes américains de la Prairie School. L'établissement doté de pierre, de verre, de laiton et de bois baignés de lumière naturelle, s'intègre à merveille dans le quartier. Le Luxbar est un bar de quartier conçu avec cette même élégance simple. La nourriture est fraîche, naturelle et compréhensible. Le menu de style artisanal reflète ce que les partenaires considèrent comme une corne d'abondance abordable de ce que vous pourriez manger en toutes occasions. Les cocktails spéciaux sont réalisés à base d'ingrédients naturels et frais : l'élégance simple. Le personnel du LUXBAR est formé d'après la philosophie qui a rendu le Gibson’s Steakhouse & Hugo's Frog Bar célèbre pour son service légendaire. Les demandes de réservation pour les tables en terrasse ne sont pas acceptées. Celles-ci sont attribuées selon le premier arrivé, premier servi.

My girlfriends and I all celebrate May birthdays and we had the absolute BEST time on Tuesday (5/14/24). Our server, Alisha (spelling? high ponytail and just the NICEST person) whom we lovingly called our Scorpio sister (we are all Taurus'). She was incredibly nice, and attentive and gave the best recommendations (still dreaming of that skillet cookie!). She also suggested the best martini, the French, which was delicious. All in all we had the best time mostly due to our incredible service. 10 out of 10!!

Great menu from snacks to salads to sandwiches to full dinner. Thie turkey burger was juicy and loaded with avocado topping. Reuben sandwich was also brimming with corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese. And the alocoholic drinks are creative along with a nicely priced wine list

We normally love this spot — the food and drinks are reliably good. We went to lunch for Mother’s Day with our kids and did not feel welcome at all, except ironically by the bar staff who were great (and are always great!). The hostesses didn’t greet us for several minutes while we waited to check in at the front of the line (even though there were 3 women standing at the hostess stand), and we were told we’d have to wait for a high chair even though my reservation noted that we were coming with toddlers. We then had to ask more than once for the chair since we had been waiting for about 30 minutes… we braved going out to lunch with twin toddlers today and felt we could have been treated more respectfully. We won’t be coming back with the kids anytime soon, unfortunately. We generally really love this place, so it was a disappointing experience.

Terrific neighborhood bar!! The craft cocktails were fun to experience. If you are into bourbon amazing selection. The service was truly outstanding and the food was excellent. I have not seen pigs in a blanket on a menu, and they were exceptional. We are big Gibson fans, and know this is one of the associated restaurants. I would highly recommend!!

There were 5 of us meeting for brunch and the food was excellent. Orders included Avocado Toast and the Salmon Benedict. My suggestion is to request the hollandaise on the side. We splurged and split the chocolate cookie skillet and it was yummy. The bellini's could have used a bit more prosecco. Our server, maybe named Dawson, was fabulous. Attentive, we did not have to wait for refills of water or drinks.

Waitress was terrible - took 30 minutes for her to even ask us what drinks we even wanted once we sat down, she couldn’t remember what we ordered, and didn’t know what sides came with what dishes. Eggs were rubbery

Had a really nice time sitting on patio while being able to see the Kentucky Derby. The service was excellent. The food was hit & miss with us. Some good parts but chips served with our guacamole were stale. The French onion soup wasn’t great. Everyone likes a thick layer of cheese on their French onion, but this wasn’t the gooey, stringy cheese we love but more like a 1/2 inch block of cheese- not a fan. What will keep me coming back was the quality service. Alan, in particular, was wonderful. I assume he’s a manager & he was working his tail off. He greeted most all tables to see how things were going for them & I saw him pitching in wherever needed- even saw him help bus a table- great service!

Khylee our server was sooo amazing. She went above and beyond to get us oysters and made it a special day with a surprise dessert for our college graduate!! It was a very loud night though, not terrible, but just in case you’re looking for something quiet, this isn’t the place. It was very nicely decorated and the food was as expected.

We had two waitresses, neither of which really paid us much attention… my burgers bun fell apart with every bite, rendering it a meal to be eaten with a fork and knife… and my girlfriends salad was some sort of green that had more stem than edible leaf.. very weird and unwhelming meal in totality

Great food, cocktails, menu, and vibe but it is EXTREMELY loud in there. Could not hear the person I was with.

Ok time here, it was a windy day when we went and when the server gathered our menus my drink spilled and broke everywhere. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs and asked for medium but it was extra rare if not blue.

The noise level in Lux Bar is incredibly high, so all diners should know that going in. It's almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The silver lining was a young man/manager tried to improve our experience and we eventually moved tables to an area where it wasn't so loud, and the manager comped our appetizer and dessert! Service was great, food is good, noise level pretty bad!

Had a great time at LUXBAR for guys night out. Our waiter was very attentive and the restaurant did a wonderful job accommodating us. One of the best old fashions I’ve had, and the food was delicious.

My steak was grey which was very strange. Waitress made weird comments. All around the food was not that good. The bar manager did come say hello and he was nice

I’ve dined here twice now and each time has been wonderful! Staff is attentive, food is delicious and I love the espresso martinis!

Our waitress was phenomenal. Sophie was so attentive and is just amazing at what she does. One of the best waitresses I’ve ever had.
