Husband-and-wife chef team Bradley Nicholson and Susana Querejazu feature ingredient-forward fare prepared with an elevated approach, influenced by their experiences cooking in acclaimed restaurants around the world.  The ever-changing, seasonal menus of Texas heritage cuisine spotlight local farmers and ranchers and reflect the chefs’ celebration of ingredients prepared with an understated simplicity.

Located on the storied architectural landmark, Commodore Perry Estate, the restaurant's name is a nod to the estate matriarch Nannie Lewette “Lutie” Perry.  The experience melds warm hospitality with the convivial spirit of the property’s Jazz Age legacy, transporting guests to a contemporary garden retreat overlooking lush estate grounds.

    Luties was a beautiful dining experience for our family of four. Wait staff was attentive and informative. We sampled many items on the menu all delicious. Some of our favorites were the beet salad, estate bread, halibut and the tx wagyu w/ béarnaise sauce. Post dinner walk around the grounds was a pleasant way to wrap up the evening.

    New favorite brunch spot! Our server (Aurora) and manager (Mohammed) checked-in on our table throughout our meal. The food was my favorite in Austin so far, such unique flavors!

    Come here. Food is excellent, service is superior, drinks are delectable. Second time we visited this beautiful restaurant and boy, does it impress. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and now mine. Probably our favorite place in Austin.

    The grounds where this restaurant is located are spectacular. I would love to go back and sit outside, because I think the greatest value is the outdoor aesthetic. The food itself was not exceptionally imaginative or flavorful, especially for the price. I don't mind spending money on incredible food, and I do appreciate that it seems quality natural ingredients were used, but I did not find there was a wow factor by any stretch of the imagination. The service was very attentive, however, our particular server felt really cold and uptight. I have a sense that there is a goal there to create an upscale, posh setting, but it just feels forced and unnatural. I prefer warm and friendly over uptight and overly formal any day, regardless of how supposedly upscale a restaurant is intended to be. If you don't mind paying hundreds of dollars to sit somewhere beautiful and eat good quality food that's decent tasting, but not very impressive, then this is your place.

    Food was fantastic, cocktails were... not. Flavor combos seemed interesting on paper but tasted bizarre (margarita tasted like nail polish remover, negroni was weirdly vanilla scented and too sweet). The first person who greeted us at the bar and brought us water was fantastic, welcoming, and friendly, but then the bartender who served us and made our drinks seemed irritated we were there.

    I wanted to try Lutie’s for a while and I finally got a reservation for Sunday brunch. The food is unique, and delicious. The place is in a country club and hotel with an amazing view. I will come again for brunch!
