Lumière, our French-inspired brasserie with a fresh West Coast perspective. Honoring the Parisian love of delicious food, good company, and beautiful things, Lumière evokes the feeling of being transported to 1920s Paris. It is open for all-day service including weekend brunch and daily Happy Hour. Led by Executive Chef Ramon Bojorquez, Lumière is driven by the pulse of the season, using fresh, seasonal ingredients in refined dishes including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant embodies a design that is classic yet modern and chic, with authentically vintage furniture and fixtures paired with sumptuously rich jewel tones. Lumière offers unique identities within its restaurant - the brasserie for a longer stay, the patisserie for daily Parisian provisions, the bar for delightful cocktails and specialty wines and our outdoor French garden. It's usually tricky finding a menu that satisfies all the picky adult eaters in this family. We found our place. Not a crumb was left. And Juan, our server, was terrific. We'll definitely be back.

Very depressing , no ambiance, no service , high price. We went for happy hour and sat by the bar for 15 minutes no server acknowledged us , so we went to the lobby and had drinks for $20.00 a glass. The waiter at the bar of the hotel lobby was excellent . We returned for dinner, uncomfortable table, a small piece of sea bass for $60.00 , two pieces of bagged for $9.00 ! Paid $300.00 for mediocre food, no service and overall a bad experience . I don’t recommend this restaurant . It was birthday , and I am so irritated with the experience that I will celebrate again this week at a different restaurant !

This is a hidden gem inside the Century Plaza hotel. The french onion soup is absolutely fantastic and is not to be missed. Lots of fresh seafood amid a thoughtfully crafted menu. The interior design is stunning. The attention to detail here is admirable. Prices are high, typical for the area.

We had hoped to spend a wonderful Easter morning here. However, the service was completely lacking and definitely not what one expects from a restaurant as this. Speaking as an ex-server, it was not that busy but our server was inattentive. It was very disappointing.

Memorable! Excellent service from setting up reservations to actual day to celebrate my Dad’s 89th Birthday. It wasn’t an easy task to find the right setting for us, 13 guests with elderly parents plus two babies. They anticipated our needs which we so appreciated. They were welcoming, accommodating & flexible. They rocked it & we will always remember that. Thank you Jade, Vanessa & Juan.

I mean the service was amazing! The service from everyone from the valet to the servers was beautiful, especially the bartender. I would definitely come back just for that!! But my app and entree were horrid but what my husband got was amazing!! But like the bartender didn't even know this restaurant was a Michielin star restaurant. I guess I pulled this place off the website so maybe next time I'll read the reviews first lol. Also, super beautiful location tho!! Needs to stay there!!

Went for a work dinner. The reservation kept changing due to the invite getting forwarded but Lumiere was very accommodating and super nice. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was delicious.

The food at Lumière is absolutely incredible—five stars! Exceptional! We visited for my mother’s birthday, and it couldn't have been better. The chicken liver mousse is savory and decadent, offering a refined indulgence. The olive oil jam is next-level delicious. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the lobster salad with sesame was refreshing, savory, and light—a perfectly balanced dish. The French onion soup is a MUST-have! We finished off the meal with a crème brûlée—highly recommended! We absolutely love this restaurant! The service is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed in parking via vallet whixh you have ro do to dine at this restaurant. We where told by restaurant that parking was validated for free. When we left the vallet demanded $17.00 AFTER the validation. He said it is $60.00 normally. We explained and he stated, "I will not give you back your Tesla until you pay." Honestly, it ruined the entire experience. Beware of vallet I would not come back because of this. Terrible!

Connecting with the chef beforehand to discuss dietary restrictions, followed by a seamless experience from wine delivery to closing, made Lumiere the perfect location for our business meeting.

The food is always excellent at Lumiere but they have a real problem with service which significantly detracts from the experience. We were at our table for nearly 10 minutes when I signaled the bartender because nobody had come over to even see if we wanted water. Then the whole meal proceeded on that same basis. Until they get the service issue worked out I would not recommend Lumiere.

We came for the French onion soup which wasn’t on the menu but the chef made it for us anyway. It was delicious, and the service was excellent. Valet parking was $17 with validation so really expensive.

My server Taco was very nice and kind. My time there was very pleasant. Also the sommelier was very kind and we shared experiences on wine. The team seems very nice globally. I got the bread to start with. The bread + the French butter were excellent. A must have ! Then I got the mushroom gratin that did not look like a gratin and was ok. A bit disappointing in such a nice French restaurant. This is why I put 4/5 stars for the food. Overall a nice experience. Returning there in 2 days ;-)

Fantastic little gem hidden in Century City. The food is fantastic (we were a party of 7 and had a little bit of almost everything) and the staff is attentive and warm. The only demerit comes from the vibe. The decor is classic brasserie with a lot of true vintage pieces, but the whats missing is the hustle and bustle of a brasserie. The restaurant is quiet and staid with a soundtrack that is jazzy albeit a little sleepy. If if had a little bit more if a vibe, we’d absolutely make it a point to come back. As for now, we’ll pop in if we happen to be in the area and need to grab a bite.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this French Bistro setting with a casual California spirit. The food was delicious but overpriced . The service was friendly and attentive. As a hospitality professional, I could advise number of fine dining improvements on food, service, and ambience but then, they would have to pay me. On the other hand, they certainly improved my marriage by the pampering to a point of spoiling us. VCP Champagne promotion was a perfect surprise since it was our wedding champagne.

Excellent service. Was a tricky night for the restaurant with a full bar area. The manager and waiter offered to move my wife and I to a table that wasn’t as loud. Very nice and much appreciated gesture. Felt like the staff really cared about providing a good dining experience. Well done Lumière.

Been there four or five times for special occasion meals. Love the selection of goodies - caviar, oysters, pate etc and the duck breast and steak frites are always winners. One of the best crème brûlées ever was well.
