Service was slow but we were there with friends so not a big deal. The first 2 things I ordered weren't available. I missed lunch so I asked what size the salads were. I was told meal sized. It was about 16 pieces of arugula, a quartered strawberry and a pillow of mozzarella. Luckily we ordered a charcuterie plate so I had something to actually eat. The meals were all very expensive for the tiny size and absolutely average taste. It's a lovely room with great views, though

We had a fantastic experience at Sunday brunch. We had 5 different menu items, all fantastic and the espresso martini is AMAZING! Service was attentive and not overbearing. All had a great time!

I enjoyed the view and environment for a girls night with my friends. The service was wonderful and our server in particular was attentive and helpful. The food was good, but I would like to try more options next time.

Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere outside. Server did his best as they were short staffed. Realizing that this would be a busy weekend due to college graduations, it was surprising how much food the restaurant did not have. They were out of many things and twice had to come back to tell us something that had been ordered was no longer available. Seemed odd for a restaurant to have so little available. That said, food was great and server did the best he could for the situation.

We had a great experience at Lumen8. We were staying at the hotel and went for happy hour/early dinner on a Tuesday. It wasn't very busy at the time but it was picking up once we were getting ready to leave. Our server was awesome, the view and ambiance was great, and food and drinks were delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to go back.

I had really high hopes coming here for Mother’s day dinner but I was disappointed. The service was okay, he came and gave us water and said he’d come back to take our drink order but we waited a bit. He didn’t really check on us at all even after our food came he didn’t ask if we wanted to order another drink. I had asked if the shrimp in the shrimp sliders came warm because I don’t do cold seafood and he said they came hot. When they arrived they were freezing so we didn’t even touch them, the $17 for those 3 sliders went to waste. My children’s French fries were cold and burnt and my husband’s steak had way too much salt as to the rest of our food completely lacked seasons/flavor. The ambiance and view is really pretty just disappointed at the amount of money we spent for the quality of it all. In my opinion not worth the hype.

We were excited to try Lumen8 for Mother’s Day, however they had a set menu for the day and unfortunately didn’t let me know when I called to confirm the reservation. We would have canceled as the options were very different from the regular menu and mostly seafood. My father ordered the salmon and the fish was plated atop the creamed corn, which unfortunately made the corn quite inedible due to the flavor from the fish skin. The “steak” option was listed as an 8oz NY steak, however it was definitely prime rib and very tough. My husband ordered corned beef and hash and the portion was significantly smaller than the rest of our entrees, resembled a child’s portion. Overall very disappointed in the quality for the price and the pre-selected menu was not of a crowd-pleasing selection. No need to try so hard.
