As the first and only restaurant-distillery in New Orleans, Louisiana and in the Southeast US, we promise to offer you an incredible experience in the shadows of our copper still and along the historic streetcar line of St. Charles Avenue.

The food was so absolutely incredible. Our wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience lovely. I had the pork osso bucco. I don't even know why they gave me a knife! It was so tender it just fell apart. The flavor was amazing! I couldn't finish the whole dish; their portions are generous and the price is VERY reasonable for the kevel of food and service they offer. I'm definitely recommending the place and returning often.

Braxton is the BEST! Had him on 2 separate occasions and everyone in my party both times were very pleased with his service. Bottomless vodka is the BOMB with the Blueberry Lemonade :). Lamb chops and craw fish mac n cheese

The prices are pretty high for the portion size. Would not recommend the steak. Super loud inside restaurant. Would recommend if you are looking for a place for drinks.

Mother’s Day Brunch so it was packed. Restaurant still did a solid job. A couple of items arrived less than hot, including gumbo, which was a bit disappointing. But overall it was a solid job.

We enjoyed a great meal - all the food was excellent! Our server Monica was really attentive and when my mother-in-law found the blackened fish over dirty rice too spicy, Monica had the kitchen cook her the same meal plain. The blackened fish was wonderful though as was the lamb chops - cooked perfectly. Thanks again to Monica for being a great server.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Lula’s!! We’ve been before and love their gin and tonic!!!!!!!!!!! Wish we could get it in Austin, Texas!! Dinner was good and dessert was amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!!💕💕💕

We went to Lula on a Friday night after attending the New Orleans Jazz Fest all day and wow, yum! We had boudin eggrolls, which were wonderful with a sweet fig sauce. We also had a crab/avocado dip with crispy wanton chips. And we shared a salad with blue cheese topped with fried shrimp. There are cocktails on tap, and I had a very refreshing pomegranate lemonade with the house-made vodka. The service was great and it was altogether a wonderful evening. The ambiance was welcoming, and so was the service, and the music wasn't too loud or annoying. Patrons ranged from ragged post-fest people like us in shorts and Ts to people in business casual to a couple of parties who were dressed up and obviously celebrating. It has a very relaxed vibe and we will definitely be back. We also bought two bottles of the house-distilled bourbon, which is delightful and not expensive.

Enjoyed all the small plates we shared! The Boudin egg rolls and cucumber Collin’s were to die for! Our server Braxton I believe, was super attentive and kind! Would definitely return.

Over all the food and service were wonderful. BEWARE! They charge you to use your credit card. The legal limit as of 4/1/23 is 3.00%. The claim there is a cash discount. A cash discount would be off the menu price, not increasing your bill if you pay by credit card. I’m reporting them and would encourage you too. I actually reduced my tip amount by the surcharge amount.

Food was okay. Sugar cane pork skewers were not my favorite - seasoning had a weird aftertaste. My Point Blue Reyes salad with fried chicken was great. Shrimp and grits were acceptable but the fried green tomatoes were hard as rocks. Server forgot us for a bit and didn’t remember a side dish that never came. Overall not up to NOLA standards in food or service. Beautiful building though. Nice concept.

We enjoyed Lula and will go back. Our service was very good and the drinks were excellent and well priced. We had the Crawfish Queso and Fried Pickles as appetizers. They were excellent—Fried Pickles the best we’ve had. The gumbo was good but we’ve had better. The Shrimp and Grits were very good! We had no room for dessert!

I’m from Los Angeles, California, and coming to this distillery was such a great experience overall. I had a Collin’s Cucumber Refresher to drink, the fried pickle appetizer to start with, and the fried chicken sandwich for dinner. For someone who is in a huge fan of pickles, I highly recommend the fried pickle appetizer! They Finley sliced the pickles and fry them in a deep batter and served 10 pickles to share, with a side of their homemade pickled – ranch dipping sauce. It was seriously so delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was also very appetizing, and I wish I made it spicy for $1.50 extra. I asked for no molasses sauce, a personal request, and was an overall delicious sandwich with the pickled – ranch dipping sauce. My best friend and I were super full from our meals, and she had gotten the crawfish macaroni and cheese for her entrée, with a side salad + ranch dressing. We were both so stuffed, we had no room for the delicious dessert menu! Lola distillery is definitely a 8.5 out of 10 review. XO, Elizabeth and Amanda.

Visiting the city for the first time. Found this place and WOW! Loved the look, atmosphere, service and the food was delicious! The service was great and our server was knowledgable and provided great feedback on our food choices. We'll be back.

Extremely generous portions at this lively enjoyable place. Service was personable, but like everywhere else they’re short staffed. We ate outdoors on the avenue, so noisy but not deafening. Very good value for the money.

The crawfish in the crawfish mac and cheese was not fresh. It tasted like cheap frozen seafood. I actually gagged at some point from how bad it was. It was very disappointing for a dish that had so very few ingredients.

Lula’s will forever be a must when we’re in New Orleans! The food was delicious! The service was on point! And how can you go wrong with $20 bottomless vodka drinks that includes a self service mixing station! The ambiance is wonderful and the location is perfect!

I have been before but this time it felt sports bar like. No atmosphere, NOLA vibe - too corporate. Also they don’t have a full bar even though they have hard alcohol.

The food was mediocre at best, but the arrows definitely awful. We sat at our table for 10 minutes in a not even 1/2 full restaurant while nobody came over to say hello or take a drink order. Finally when the waiter arrived, he gave us attitude because we wanted drinks. Then we ordered two apps(which arrived at the table before or drinks). The crab guacamole was so so. The fried green tomatoes were actually very good. Then dinner came. The ribs were good. My chicken sandwich was ok. My friends steak was ice cold, and my wife’s osso bucco was barely edible. 20 minutes later when the waiter finally came back to check with us, we were half finished with our food, and all our drinks had been empty for a while. We got another round and ordered dessert. Bread pudding was fine. The chocolate torte was below average. Overall really dissatisfied with this whole experience. I cannot recommend it.

Great looking place in a great location on St. Charles. Location and venue pretty much end the positives. This is the laziest excuse of a New Orleans cuisine restaurant as they advertise themselves as such. In addition, please explain how a distillery actually does not have a bar that makes drinks in real time but instead has previously prepared mixed drinks that are poured at request. Food was mediocre at best! So many better restaurants from which to choose. The reviews to do live up to reality.

Quite loud and difficult to hear conversation at the table. Lots of hard surfaces that bounce ambient sound and music (little too loud) from sound system around space. Space is nice with distillery In the back. Big bar along one wall. Service was friendly if not quite up to typical NOLA standards. It’s really a big bar versus a restaurant with a bar.

Love this restaurant. I've eaten here before but my mom and daughter hadn't so I took them before we went to an LPO concert. Fantastic and delicious as usual. I will be back!!
