Welcome to Luka's! Nestled in the heart of gold country we are located on 35 main street in historical Jackson, just minutes away Award winning wine country, Kennedy Mines and blocks way from Amador County museum, Jacksons Historic Fire House and Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Luka's has a casual atmosphere indoor dining with a sunny patio dining in the warmer seasons. We have a full bar with 12 drafts and signature drinks, a diverse selection of local and California wines. Chef Abe Caterson and his team are well known for their seasonal dishes as well as our every day dishes that include choice steaks, creamy pastas, fresh salads, and hand made pizzas.

We started at Happy Hour and moved over to the dining room after some appetizers and drinks where we ate to our hearts content. Food and service was great, will definitely return to Luka’s!

Great food and wonderful service. My buddy and I split the brie burger and the brie pizza. Wow - one of the best burgers either of us have ever had. Great beer and wine selection and cool looking cocktails. I would definitely come back every time.

Our server was efficient and friendly. Our food was served pretty fast and was delicious. I had the Tuscan prawns which were very tasty although I would have cut back on the dried tomatoes. My husband had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and he loved it.

We had been here before, for lunch, but this was our first time for dinner. We were very pleased with our meal and our server. We will be back!

Our server was fantastic. Friendly, not overly attentive, but there when we needed her. We had 5 guests. 2 guests’ meals were near perfect. 3 were not. The bison burgers were overcooked, bland, the fries were sparse and not fresh. The salmon was excellent, but the carrot and asparagus garnish was cold and rubbery.

A total disappointment. Food tasted old and like it'd been frozen and reheated. Soup was not hot

Our server, Macy was outstanding and our food(Ribeye and Filet)were cooked to perfection. Had a couple of specialty drinks and they were also good. Highly recommend Luka’s

We had a lovely dinner and an opportunity to linger afterward to catch up with old friends. Our server was excellent and very attentive to our needs. The food was very tasty and generously portioned.

Excellent service. I had the Salmon Citrus Salad. It was delicious. Husband had the chippino it was amazing. Forgot to take pictures.

Eight friends of long standing (as opposed to old friends) met for lunch yesterday. There was plenty of room for us in the main dining room, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Our wait person was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and the prices fair. Servings were large! I came home with enough pizza for another meal.

First visit and the food and service were very good. Filets were cooked properly, fried chicken was tasty, pasta dish was good, and beef short rib was good, except super small portion and fatty (could have been just one bad piece). And dessert was delicious. I love that they offer local wines. We will absolutely go back next time in Jackson.

We found this delicious restaurant while we were camping and decided to bring some family members back two weeks later as the food was so good service was amazing noise level moderate which is important because one of our diners is 90 years old will definitely go back

The specials were amazing. We were lucky enough to be there for the award winning Cajun clam chowder and the delicious pulled pork Mac and cheese. The restaurant offers a nice variety and everything we had was wonderful. We will be back.

Food was delicious with good size portions, my risotto was just a little undercooked but still tasty. (only reason I didn’t give 5 stars) Grilled chicken pasta was delicious as well. Service was excellent; quick and friendly. Steak prices were a bit high, but that’s everywhere. . The atmosphere was nice with the fireplace and separate from the bar. Will definitely go back!

Several years since last dining at Luka’s. Restaurant has expanded providing more dining space. Nice menu choices, food was good to very good, though not at the level of several years ago, maybe a new chef, or just an off night. Worth another try before changing mind about future visits.

Very charming restaurant and bar in an old gold-rush era building. Excellent seafood linguini, moderately priced wines, and exceptional bread and deserts. It's in the heart of Jackson and a very popular spot, even on a weekday. Definitely recommended.

Food and the service were good. A bit pricey for 3 people with one drink/person, one appetizer, one salad, charged for bread and butter; for entree. Bill was over $200.00 plus the tip. $250 dinner. I know the cost of everything has skyrocketed up but I felt it was too expensive.
