During a recent trip up the coast, my family and I decided to stop for a meal at Lucky's in Malibu. Given the popularity of the place, I recommend making reservations on weekends as it can get quite busy. The Experience: Ambiance and Service: We were seated at a lovely table, and our server, Olivia, greeted us with a smile and boundless energy. She promptly took our drink order, and we opted for two martinis. They were shaken at the table, resulting in an exceptionally cold and smooth drink. Complimentary Bread: A pleasant surprise was the complimentary bread, a rarity these days but a welcome touch. Appetizers: We started with a half dozen oysters and the Lucky Salad. The oysters were fresh and tasty, and the salad was crisp and fresh. Main Course: For the main course, we had the Dover Sole, Creamed Corn, Potato Skins, and Lucky's Chili. The Potato Skins were particularly outstanding, and the Creamed Corn was very good. The Dover Sole was exceptional, deboned tableside in an old-school manner and cooked perfectly. Kids Menu: Lucky's also offers a kids menu, which was great for our son. He ordered the chicken tenders, which are made from scratch and were a big hit. Dessert: We ended our meal with Pecan Pie, which was a delightful finish to a great dining experience. Overall Impression: Our visit to Lucky's Malibu was fantastic, with excellent service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend dining here at least once, and returning is a must. The service was outstanding throughout our meal.

Great steak! It’s in the country mart shopping center so parking is pretty easy if you go here for dinner. Service was fantastic!

We had an awesome time with the perfect table. The complimentary mimosa for brunch was a nice touch. We enjoyed it very much & look fwd to going back soon.
