Irina was a wonderful hostess! Dinner selections were varied and flavorful. Windy when we went so sat in the beautiful dining room, but the patio looks lovely for wine and friends.

Food was exceptional as always (both the rack of lamb and the short rib). Service was great. They had a decanter for our 38 year old Bordeaux wine (we were celebrating our wedding anniversary).

Outstanding meal! Used to live in Houston and was visiting our daughter. Loved this gem of a restaurant when we lived here. My salmon was done to perfection. My husband had the tuna with wasabi potatoes and claimed it was the best he’s had. Our son in law loved the calamari.

Finally! We’ve wanted to try this gem of a restaurant for some time but never quick enough on reserving but not this time…we tried and were not disappointed. Service, ambiance, and meal was superb! Even had a visit from the owner himself who shared the preparation of the short rib entree we had. Crab cake, salads, and scallops were fantastic. BYOB, and wines for purchase. Definitely recommend this gem!

Always love coming here! The food and service is always fantastic. Bonus you can BYOB!! Had the Halibut and Ribeye. Both were delicious! Definitely will be back soon.

This is an excellent restaurant. The space is intimate and warm. Our server, Irena, was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient. She made excellent suggestions for our meal. The rib-eye steak, halibut and lamb were fabulous. The restaurant is a little pricey but the quality of the food and ambiance justify the price

Food and service was excellent. The art on the wall allowed for great discussion thru dinner! Food specials were amazing! The Fluke was the best along side the bread pudding. BYOB option was an added bonus!

We had the smoked duck and the filet mignon. Both were amazing! The duck had a nice sear on the breast to give it a nice pop. The filet was a little heavy on the pepper for our taste but it was still cooked to butter perfection. The filet also came with stacked potatoes that had blue cheese cooked in. She normally does not eat blue cheese since she is slightly allergic but think these did not affect her because she was already taking an allergy med for the hotel. It would ha e been nice to know it contained blue cheese ahead of time but was not a big deal and she said they were good and creamy! We also decided to get the bread pudding since my wife loves this dessert. The flavor was amazing and just the right portion amount for both of us to share without too much sweet! The server was amazing giving us and others suggestions along with knowing the menu like the back of her hand. She was very attentive to the tables and almost running at times to give the absolute best service! The cooks were also very nice welcoming us in and wishing us a goodnight when we left. Overall a fabulous experience!

Our Valentine dinner was lovely, sea bass on a bed of risotto was done perfect although it would have been nice to have a bit of veg. The short ribs were a good choice. BYO is a plus for those of us who have a cellar and can enjoy a favorite bottle. Although the restaurant wasn’t anything fancy the service was well done. I would not hesitate to recommend friends to dine at Lucio’s and look forward to our next visit.

This is Our favorite Restaurant and what we consider our Special Place. The Owner and his Wife are the most humble and gracious Hosts and the food is fantastic. Are there Houston Restaurants equal to Lucio's, no doubt, but the Owner and his wife make this so much more than the rest.

Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and BYOB offering. Pleasant, no rush service, was just attentive enough so we could enjoy our wine and each course. Tried their crab cake, tomato burrata salad to start. Very tasty. My husband and I had their specials, ribeye and fish entrees, even though we intended to to try the filet and 36 hour short rib off the menu. No regrets! Just another reason to return! Their “bubbles” dessert which was a home made eclair cream medley of coffee, hazelnut, chocolate goodness. It was an overall wonderful experience and would love to return for another date night or group date.

The crispy calamari and 72 hours short rib were delicious. The pork belly wasn't as tender as I would have liked. The pork tenderloin was very tender. The pork belly and pork tenderloin could have had a pinch more seasoning. Overall, I had a pleasant night out.

This place is excellent. The only reason I did not give the service a 5 star rating is because, at times, the service is a bit slow since a husband and wife are running the show and doing everything. But this is one of the things we love about the place. They take great pride in their restaurant and bust their butts every single time we go there. Very reasonable food prices and the food is excellent. Always.
