Despite having confirmations and re-confirmations, we arrived at LUCIE to find that it was CLOSED. We traveled in from Wellesley and paid a fortune at the Pru to park. Very unhappy. UPDATE: We were the very happy guests of Mr. Nicholas Calias, Director of Food and Beverages of Lucie, who apologized for the SNAFU and treated us to a delicious dinner. We were very glad we took him up on his kind offer and delighted in the swordford and steakfrites. The meals were absolutely wonderful as well as the hospitality. We are very glad to have found a new favorite restaurant! Check it out.

Maybe I am just comparing poor Lucie to its predecessor Brasserie Jo's by expecting really good food and atmosphere. The service here was wonderful and the atmosphere is too, but the food was lacking. I had the mussels - they were cold (and not meant to be). My husband's chicken was seriously overcooked. The cocktails were nice. Maybe next time I'll just hang at the bar. :)

We were tight on time for a concert. Our friendly server was extremely helpful and brought out food and drinks so we did not need to rush. We enjoyed the tuna tartar, mushroom lasagne and the steak frites.

Our waiter Tyler was fantastic from start to finish , he was knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy his job . He explained the menu to us really well even the interesting Brussel sprouts which I had never seen as a starter before. The portions were large and enough to satisfy anyone . I had the noodles with shrimp which Tyler did say was large but I underestimated how large and could have easily been for two people I think we could have had a larger gap between courses but that is a small issue which didn’t detract from our experience. Overall great value and great service from Tyler

We always enjoy it here because the food is consistent and the ambience is nice. It’s a large space so you don’t feel claustrophobic and you can engage in conversation easily. We loved Brasserie Jo, which was in this space before Lucie, and Lucie has proven to be a good replacement.

Nice location at Colonnade hotel. Ribs appetizer was delicious- enough for at least 2 people to share. Bolognese was disappointing- not very flavorful. Nice staff although they sometimes took longer than expected for simple requests like cream for the coffee - the room is big so maybe they had to cover lots of tables?

I hate to say it, but we had just finished eating and a mouse ran by us on the floor. Not a very happy ending to our visit! The service was good, the food was ok, but seeing a live mouse run across the floor was not ok.

Lucie is a very dependable location for a pre-Symphony Hall dinner, just a quick 5-7 minute walk away. The restaurant is spacious, attractively modern, well-lit, and best of all not noisy even when quite full (huge side benefit!) The drinks and food are dependably good, and the waitstaff 100% pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating of all requests. We have enjoyed two dinners there, and will likely return.

My appetizer (Beet Salad) and entree (Salmon) were good, unfortunately the drink menu was not appealing nor did the dessert menu offer any unique items, all can be found at other restaurants. While forgivable, the service was one of the worst experiences, drive-thru service at a fast-food restaurant is superior. There are definitely better options within the area, I suggest checking one of those out instead.

Wait staff is slow. Sat at 12:45 got water and asked for drinks at 1:10. Then did not take order until 1:20. Empty glasses at 1:30. Had to go to hostess stand to find our server. My tuna tar tar was subpar - there was so much avocado and about 1/8 of a cup of tuna. Returned - manager was rude and said “well you already ate a lot” I’m no I didn’t that’s all I was given. Overall disappointed. I rarely write reviews but buyer beware on this one.

Food: fair... steak frites overcooked, swordfish au poivre was completely overwhelmed with pepper. Service: inattentive, slow, appetizers were delivered to wrong table before being hastily moved. Value: wildly overpriced for what it is.

Somewhat frustrating that we were on time for our reservation and there were open tables but we didn’t get seated for 10 min. Our server got our order right but was very non-communicative — dropped off my drink with no word about why other drinks didn’t come at the same time (some else did drop them off). Food choices were good and lots of GF options listed. When my dish arrived, my fries were cool. I would go back — location near NU and symphony make it a good location but there is room for improvement.

Same space occupied by Brasserie Jo for many years. Wish they were still here. Pleasant atmosphere, tables not crowded. Wild mushroom lasagna quite good. Chicken paillard, served only warm, and on a cold plate. No carb included but good bread served, and excellent side salad. Server somewhere between lackluster and distracted, had to ask one of supervisors to "find our wine."

Drinks and food were great. The server, Connor, was very good at coming around to check on us. We really liked the environment and found it to be a nice setting for conversation. We’ll be back for sure

It was relatively empty, given the poor weather that was coming in. Emily, our server, was fantastic! I had the French onion soup, which was perfect. In addition, my entrée was the swordfish au poivre. The swordfish was cooked perfectly. It was not overdone or underdone. The accompanying sauce was a wonderful addition and complemented the fish very nicely.

Food was VERY good (2 of us, salmon and pasta orders). I would go back for the food. Service, though, was terrible, very slow; we were ignored for 20 minutes until I finally told the hostess that. They were obviously understaffed (Sat night, holiday season).

This was not a good experience. Ordered a cocktail and soda. Hostess came by after awhile, asking if the drink she had was mine, without the soda. We had to ask two more times to get the soda. My Old Fashioned had no garnish in it. I saw another table with a similar looking drink and when I asked what they ordered, I was told it was also an Old Fashioned. Then our meal. Server had to come back and retake our order because they lost the paper. We watched other servers wander around with a plate of ribs, asking tables if it was theirs. When our food came, I was again disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Milanese, with was supposed to be "Breaded chicken breasts, peppadew, arugula, parmesan, citrus vinaigrette, balsamic glaze." I got the breaded chicken, and about a 1/2 cup of greens and some sliced tomato with a small bit of balsamic glaze. For $30. It was so disappointing. Will not be going back.

Not really sure what to say. The bar was a disaster, the service was so bad and slow and the bartenders just weren't nice. The food was mediocre, won't be back!

The welcome was a good start to an otherwise uninspired experience. The service was very slow and the wait staff needed to be reminded of orders, Additionally, the bar incorrectly prepared the drinks. That was just the beginning. Once food arrived, the sequence of service was rushed, plates and glasses were attempted to be cleared while people were still eating etc etc. Finally, a management person came to the rescue of several servers who were either inexperienced or overworked. Sorry that I can't recommend the place at present because it should have great potential.
