Located in a historical home in the resort town of Dana Point, California, Luciana's Ristorante has been serving the Orange County community for over 30 years. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy European-style inn, establishing it as one of Orange County's most romantic restaurants. Awarded the Southern California Restaurant Writers gold medal since 1996, three stars from the California Restaurant Writers, Zagat's Survey "America’s 1,000 Top Italian Restaurants 2008" and an Award of Excellence for its wine list, Luciana's has been setting the standard for classic as well as innovative Italian cuisine.     I love the food at this place and will always come back. However, we had a group of 6 large adult men and were placed at a smaller table and told they had to squeeze us there due to anticipated crowds. The reality is there were more than 10 empty tables throughout the restaurant during our entire visit and they could have accommodated us easily with a larger set up. Unfortunately the hostess was just being lazy...

    Delicious dinner in an old world setting. Service was pleasant but spotty. Server seemed overworked and gave away the birthday surprise!

    We've been going to this restaurant for decades. We've noticed the portion size has definitely shrunk but the food is still delicious. Our waiter should've been working at a diner. Very casual and not completely attentive. Overall, we did enjoy our dinner and eating on the front outdoor enclosed patio, although even out there it was quite loud.

    I had an amazing experience. The ambience of the restaurant was very romantic. The food was great as well. Highly recommend for date night .
