Founded in 2001, Lucca's Pizzeria has become the town's most popular family restaurant in downtown La Grange for amazing pizza and more! We offer more than pizza though. We provide a full bar of cocktails, wines, and spirits as well as sandwiches, burgers, and subs. The food was just okay, multiple pasta dishes we ordered we just bland. The kicker was when my sober friend (been sober for >30 days and on a new path) ordered a regular coke and was given a rum and coke. Not sure how this mistake happened but all 5 of us at the table heard him order a regular coke. The waiter wasn’t even remorseful. Talk about an awkward and Terrible situation.

they don’t know how to serve white wine. The Savignon Blanc I had was warm and when I spotted the wine fridge behind the bar because my table had a direct view of it, the temperature was 53°. White wine should be stored at 34° or lower, it took over a half an hour for it to chill in the ice bucket to taste appropriate.

The food is delicious, full stop. But we were pretty disappointed with the service. We had a reservation but weren’t seated until 30 minutes after it, and then our server didn’t come back to see about drink refills until we were nearly done with our entrees.

Our server, Cathy was not at her best. After waiting 45 minutes for our entrees and watching other tables sat after us get their meals we asked about ours. She was shocked, walked to the screen (where she had been hanging out chatting it up with employees) and plugged in our order!! She never apologized, and when we finally received our entrees20 minutes later she didn’t deliver them nor ask anytime during our visit if we needed anything. It was a huge celebration (birthday and beating cancer) and we told her about this. We will not return. This is actually the second time I’ve experienced this at the establishment. Being sat near the computer screen as orders were taken, we saw more “fun times” as staff goofed off. I’m letting others know how incredibly disappointing and unprofessional this was. I used to love this place. So sad it’s declined so far. The manager walked by several times noticing we had no food and did NOTHING

We live in Lagrange. Lucca’s is our forever go to restaurant. They never disappoint. From the food to the service it’s always top notch. It’s especially fantastic when we luck out and get Sarah as our server! She’s literally the best! Also on many occasions, the GM, Esmeralda is floating around doing all she can to make sure your experience is great. She’ll take time out of her schedule to come talk to the tables. Whether you live in Lagrange or you’re “just visiting” do not miss this place!

Food is consistently great! Love the neighborhood vibe! We live in the area and Lucca's is in high rotation among all the LaGrange options. Love the staff too!

We are so sorry we ever booked a reservation at Lucca's! We made a 7:30 reservation. When we presented to the hostess, she said it would be a 15-20 minute wait. I asked what the point of a reservation was if we had to wait. She gave me some lame excuse with quite an attitude. We had to wait over half an hour before we got seated. My husband has health issues and waiting that long to eat is not good for him. The waitress was nice and so was the bartender. And not quite sure how anyone could mess up spumoni ice cream, but they sure did. Would never go again and definitely not recommend!!

Food was good. Service was slow but it was Valentine's Day so I take that into account and wasn't bothered by it. They did not honor my reservation that specifically stated 'standard' seating rather than 'high top' seating and was brushed off and told "we don't see that on our end." I did not appreciate the older woman's hostess attitude or tone. If that matters to you, I would call rather than make the reso online.

The food is absolutely awful. I don’t know how this place is so popular. No flavor at all. I should have known how awful it was going to be when we were brought cut up hamburger buns as the bread for the olive oil. Absolute garbage. Will never ever be back.

The experience from the minute we walked in until we left was exceptional. Our waiter Rodrigo provided food and drink recommendations that were absolutely fabulous. His knowledge of the menu was impressive. The entire staff was attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely be going back.

Loved our server! They were able to seat us just a bit earlier than our reservation…which was greatly appreciated!!!! Loved the noisy, fun, relaxed atmosphere! Our waitress was very attentive and even our busser was on top of his game. One bit of advice…GET THE ANTIPASTO appetizer!

Very Italian decor and helpful staff. We enjoyed our meals--chicken parm sandwich and their rendition of a chopped wedge. Full service bar and a very broad and unique pizza menu.
