Lucca South Shore is the newest and fourth location for Lucca restaurant group. Featuring two bars, two patios, a large dining room, multiple areas to host large parties and ample parking. Lucca South Shore allows you to enjoy the Lucca experience without heading in to Boston. With a reputation for award winning wine lists, Lucca South Shore features numerous carefully curated offerings. Our cocktail program has been elevated to offer both classic and innovative cocktails as well as an assortment of cocktails on draft.
The property has over three acres; future plans include designing and creating a Chef's garden to grow fruits, vegetables and herbs.

My husband and I had dinner at Lucca’s on Mother’s Day evening. We were seated in a little side room near the entry. It could have been nice to be in a more intimate setting but it wasn’t. Instead it felt disorganized and forgotten. Although the young man who waited on us was really nice. Our food, I had potato gnocchi with lobster, was underwhelming. The pieces of lobster were small and chewy. I think there were pieces of kale or maybe something else in it but they were like dried twigs. We did have a three meatball appetizer- that was very tasty. My husband said his chicken pasta was ‘fine’ but he only ate half and didn’t opt to bring the leftovers home. All in all, very disappointing.

We went on Mother's Day, they were extremely busy but we were seated as soon as we arrived, at the time of our reservation. The food and drinks were all fabulous. We had a wide age range at our table (16 to 80 years old) and a large party, and everyone loved what they had. Service was exceptional. The owner was friendly and walking around talking to the tables to check in and see how everyone was enjoying their visit. I have not had an experience this great in a while. Easy five stars, I'd give six if I could.

Wonderful Lunch - Super nice and attentive server and greeters at front door. Lovely place and fair prices and portions are large and attractive. Will be back.

Great place for almost any type of occassion unless you need it to be really quiet - Maitre de very welcoming and formally seated us, server very attentive even though she seemed a bit stretched with tables, food was very good, cavatelli pasta dish truly the best pasta dish I have had in the surrounding area, peas tasted like they were fresh from the garden, pasta perfectly cooked!

Great vibe. Food was great and nice bar area. A bit loud in the main dining room so hard to hear at times . Service is excellent !

Made reservations. We were placed in the bar area, not dining room. Sat there for 15 minutes. No one came over except eventually someone to pour water at the 15 minute mark. One server seen who looked overwhelmed. We chose to leave at that point as it was clear that it was not going to be a pleasant experience. Then got an email from open table that we didn’t show up. Came highly recommended by friends. Won’t be back.

I feel like our waitress was new, so it’s not a hit on her at all she was just a bit nervous. She brought things out timely and was nice. The bread was very good as was the oil. Honestly this was one of the best parts. My wife had the linguine, and I had the gnocchi. The gnocchi was amazing. Honestly the sauce on there was so good. Her dish was good but not great. We got the meatballs as the app, and were slightly disappointed with them. Not bad but not as good as we were expecting. I think our biggest issue was an app and two meals were $90 pre tip. For an Italian place that just seems absurdly high. We didn’t have drinks, and no dessert. Besides the price everything was good.

Food was really good. The table position was tough; in a travel aisle for servers and guests so there was a lot of chair moving when passers-by passed. The restaurant was crowded which meant the bar was backed up, but those are not huge problems.

We were their for our first time with a party of 6. The server was not very good unfortunately, slow taking our orders we had to ask to place our orders. Not very attentive. The food was OK, for me personally I asked that the pork chop to be cooked to med and it came out well done. Unfortunately I do not think we will be back

I would frequent this location often if it were closer to my home. I can't find anything to criticize . I must compliment the wait staff for exceptional service

First off we had an excellent server named David. He was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the wine and menu. He was a little busy with a large party and apologized to us,actually we didn’t notice because our service was excellent,but he still brought us some cannolis on the house. The staff was professional and friendly. I look forward to going back and I highly recommend!

For a very busy Easter Sunday, Lucca did a great job of handling the number of patrons. We did have to wait about 15 minutes beyond our reservation time but they were packed. We had really, really, wonderful meatballs as a shared app ( they were out of shishito peppers 😢). The burger, the pork chop and the salmon were all fantastic. Our server was appropriately attentive and very helpful. We had a great time. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience on Easter Sunday. We had made reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive, offering help with anything we didn't understand on the menu. Our beverages were promptly delivered. We had an appetizer that was great. Our meals were brought out soon after we finished it. Everything was delicious and cooked as requested.

We sat in the front bar area for the live music on Thursday nights. Our server, Sheree was excellent! Food and drinks were delicious!

First time at Lucca. We found the decor to be impressive. The service was good and the food was obviously planned by an experienced chef. Prices a little steep but if the food is this good it's worth it.

Food is really good and consistent here. The service was absolutely horrible this last time. Appetizer plates where never cleared prior to entrees being placed on the table. I had to ask for someone to come and grab the plates, so that we could put the plates onto the table vs hold them in our laps. For dessert, the server forgot to bring out our desserts. We had already finished our cappuccinos and coffees and we had to remind the server we had ordered dessert and to bring it out since we were celebrating a birthday. I wanted to say something to the hostess on the way out but wanted to leave because I was utterly disappointed.

Overall it was good. Service was a little slow at first but seemed they had a lot of people being seated at the same time. Once the restaurant was filled in the servers seemed to keep up much better. Food was very good, we enjoyed all of the appetizers, drinks and meals we ordered.

We had a delicious meal, starting with the braised calamari followed by the tagliatelle & the swordfish dinners. Cocktails were just right and the carrot cake was scrumptious! Our server was delightful as well.

We had a very sweet friendly server. We sat in the bar/lounge area at a high top and the sun was streaming in the window. Very bright & comfortable. My sister & I love sharing plates at lunch. So we shared an Arugula salad with blackberries & pine nuts& it was wonderful. We also had the Calamari which are not the typical batter fried and are so tender & delicious. We also had the glazed pork ribs on a bed of Cole slaw. I could have eaten that whole dish myself. We also each had a perfectly crafted Blood Mary .

Very crowded which we had expected when made our resi. Seated 20 minutes past resi time. Long wait for bread and salads. Our server David was very polite and friendly. My husband’s entree was cold so sent back and then we’re not eating together.
