Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

First time diner. Was ok but expect a bit more for the price we paid. My meal was ok but not great. Was anxious to try the hush puppies. They were a bit bland for my taste. My lobster roll didn’t have much lobster in it. Server was ok. Made up for an earlier mistake. The most irritating part was the 1 gnat and 1 fly that kept interrupting. I still would recommend because my wife enjoyed her fish meal and the fish was very good.

This was our first experience at Lovers Seafood. It was a delightful evening. Starting from a warm and timely welcome and seating to our server who described the menu well and eventually to the food was all excellent. The quality and taste of the oysters and the fish was exceptional. We did feel the dining area was a little crowded and noisy- however the warmth of the staff and the fine quality of the food will bring us back again.

Overall nice experience! Great ambiance and finish out. Gumbo and hush puppies were ok. Halibut was delicious! Service team was ok as well.

This was amazing . I dined at night inside and it was pretty busy . I tried the scampi shrimp appetizer, and modified a Shrimp and Grit with Redfish that was cooked perfectly . My server was also very kind and didn’t make me feel awkward about dining solo. He made two great recommendations on wine and I will definitely be returning.

As always we enjoy this special little restaurant. Since we found this spot several months ago, we’ve been almost every week. Always trying something new, haven’t found a thing yet we didn’t like. The best hush puppies we’ve ever had. Fresh fish and everything made from scratch! Top notch!! Highly recommend!!

Wow! What an awesome evening. We’ve never been and wanted something different. So happy with the choice. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful! Mollie, our server, was incredible! She was on top of everything the entire time. Definitely planning to return! What a gem.

Our first time dining here, will not be our last! Started with the lobster spoons and coconut shrimp. Both were delicious, as were their craft cocktails. Patrick, our server, was wonderful! We had the halibut and blackened redfish for our entrees, with Mac and cheese for our side…The halibut was delicate and lovely, and hubby enjoyed his redfish. The ambiance inside is a local neighborhood vibe, without being overly pretentious…We will have to return to try more on their menu!!!

The scenery says brunch date. Our server (Mr. Doug) was very attentive and helped guide us through a large menu with so many exciting selections. The food hit the table and instantly became the star of the show. The interior decor helped to create an inviting atmosphere. To end our visit we had the apple cobbler absolutely phenomenal . Overall exceptional experience. First time definitely won’t be the last.

As always the food here is delicious. Only knock is that the cod in the fish and chips was fried but the fish was still a bit mushy. Needed another minute or two in the fryer. Service great.

The food is always amazing. I opted for an entree and to share a few sides (versus previous visits ordering 3-4 sides). I (we) a (are) never disappointed. The staff is attentive, but not overly! If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The patio is fantastic!

Had the gumbo as a starter. I don't think I have ever tasted better. Perfectly seasoned. Moved to the main course of blackened TX Redfish. Perfectly prepared. Cooked just right and seasoned just right. The accompanying hush puppies and red beans and rice were delicious. Best meal I have had in a long time. You do not have cooks in your kitchen, you have A talent chefs!

Wonderful but I think the scallops for the Valentine’s special should have come with 5 scallops instead of 3 given it was a meal not an app. Just comparing to other restaurants. Otherwise, outstanding as always!

No Birthday Freebies at all. We were seated at a bad spot (on traffic path to the bar area) that the person sitting in the chair gets impact from people passing all the time. Server was impatient with somewhat strange attitude. Only good part was food OK… given the small portion size, value is fair.

Made a reservation and the dining room was empty, yet hostess was only seating patio at the time. The patio had some guests but wasn’t packed. Somehow we ended up with a table that was so uneven our drink glasses ended up sliding off & breaking. The food was good besides some little mishaps with the brussels being burnt/ drowned in oil. The server was nice and recommended the mushrooms instead (which were a great improvement). Really the patio wasn’t enjoyable with its leaky roof (due to the rain), & slick tile it was difficult to navigate in heels. Overall, I would’ve liked to have had the option to sit in the dining room. Maybe then the experience would’ve matched the prices.

Great atmosphere to relax and feel cozy! Wonderful staff attention and balance. The calamari with sweetie drop peppers was so good. Lobster tacos and fish tacos were great. Such good variety on the menu to pick from.
