Visiting from Edmonton, I've been to Louie's before. This time a bit disappointing. My steak was awesome but the green beans & carrots were very tough & inedible. The mashed potatoes that accompanied my dinner covered almost 3/4 of the plate. Not sure why Chef thought anyone would need that many potatoes. While my Sis & I were dining, we were treated to the Manager's? Owner's? play by play on the restaurants strategy. Not sure we needed to hear that through our evening out. Meetings should be held away from customers, not inside the restaurant. Might try again next time I breeze through town.

Hi Georgina, thanks for taking the time to review us. Glad to hear the steak was great, but sorry to hear that the veggies were underdone. We spend a lot of time ensuring our vegetables aren't over cooked, so it sounds like our kitchen team took it a little too far. As for staff meetings, we definitely do not hold those in the main restaurant, however, we have been actively training some new staff so perhaps one of our manager's voices was carrying a little too much during orientation or training. Our sincere apologies for that. It certainly was not our intent to disrupt your dinner. Hopefully we'll see you again the next time you're in town.

The food and drinks were wonderful and the space was quiet and comfortable. We came here for our anniversary. Only knocking off a star because it seemed like they wanted us to leave since we were the only ones there. We ended up getting dessert to go.

If you are looking for a great place to go out with friends, eat high quality foods, drink cocktails/wines for all preferences including mocktails and have great service be sure to check this restaurant out.

The food and service were top notch. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The garlic mushrooms were heavenly. A great experience and a must go-back-to!!
