Located on the south side of the Brookfield Square Shopping Center, Lou’s is convenient for a break from shopping, post-Brookfield Zoo adventures or heading back from downtown. Our restaurant features a full-service bar, dine-in, carryout, delivery, group ordering, a private space for up to 45 and drop-off catering.     Our server was outstanding. He was on top of refills. He was funny. We had a great time. My only recommendation is at the end of the meal when the server takes the payment to ask if you are part of the rewards program to receive your points.

    We had curb side pick up - checked in no one came out had to go it ourselves

    First time at Malnati’s. We are not deep dish pizza people but always looking for a good thin crust. It was not busy and we got a booth in the bar. Server was attentive. Pizza seemed pricey when you paid for a cheese pizza and then $2.95 for every additional topping. We chose 5 toppings although 2.95 for onions seemed like robbery, but we like onions! We were told up front that it would be a 25 minute wait so we ordered drinks and waited. Not big eaters so no appetizers necessary. I did not order pepperoni because I cannot eat it. Our pizza came and, in addition to the 5 toppings, there was pepperoni. And a lot! It covered the crust below the toppings. I lifted the toppings off, scraped the pepperoni off and then put the toppings back on to eat it. When our server checked back, I explained the problem and he said he would look into it. Upon returning, he admitted it was his mistake. He remembered I said I could not eat pepperoni but accidentally put it in the order. He had talked to the manager and they comped the pizza which was very fair but it still was not a good experience. In addition, we did not care for the thin crust. Not at all like the usual thin crust pizza. We will not be back.

    Great salads, pizzas and pastas. Service was fast and friendly, and prices are affordable.

    The waitress, took forever to serve us, but paid a lot of attention to the other table. We felt kinda discarded. Poor service, we won’t come back. We’ll just make the drive to Chicago.
